Typical sandwich with sausage. They bake the bread in a wood burning stove. Whenever I’m in Lisbon I make sure to eat a late lunch here. More

Amazing experience! The sandwich was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend this place. It has such a great vibe! However, the only issue was that the lady who served me forgot to bring my drink, which was listed on the menu. I only realised later, but overall, it didn’t take away from the great experience. More

These were cheap and hit the spot. The meat one was excellent although could have been a bit warmer (though we arrived mid afternoon). The cod was a little underwhelming. Something with the texture and flavor could have been a bit better. I did enjoy the rice pudding. Overall a satisfying lunch spot. More

It looks like a local spot. We came at 5 pm and there were only a couple Portuguese people. The consistency and taste of the soup was great, it reminds me of a northeastern Turkish soup (black cabbage soup). Chorizo bread was big and filling. Staff was kind and lovely. Very affordable for such a great comfort food. More

The set meal was tasty, filling and good value. The bread is particularly good. We also ordered a veggie sandwich which was flavoursome and loaded. It’s very informal, order at the counter and there are seats inside and on the pavement. More

A wonderful local cuisine experience. I had the Menu Merendeira. The soup was delicious, and the bread was super fresh and warm. It paired perfectly with the cold beer. For dessert, the rice pudding (or sütlaç for the Turks) had the perfect amount of sugar. It was a great lunch stop on the way to the city center after Belem. More
