The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and service is good but the food is bland. I ordered the Filet Mignon Steak Kabob and it came with a chicken noodle soup that was very salty. The steak kabob dish had nice presentation but flavorless. Overall, I think the atmosphere is better than the food here. More

We took a group of 13 for a pre holiday get together. The service was friendly albeit a little slow . The food was as I remember it. I love the pita and hummus. We had a little bit of everything and everyone seemed happy. More

Ate the ribs dinner, and was treated to something really special. There were so many vegetables that I asked for a big soup spoon. That, with the gravy, made me feel as if I were eating a stew, without a lot of juice. It tasted delicious!

I was headed to the place next door but they were pretty slammed so I decided to go to Andie's instead, and I'm thrilled that's where I ended up! I had my pup with me, who they were lovely about accommodating, and the service was very good … More

Rolled into Andie’s for a late lunch—spent about $20 on the dip sampler, veg moussaka combo, and a Turkish coffee. The food was legit fresh and hearty, especially that hummus and dips—super flavorful. Staff were friendly, family‑style vibe … More

Really enjoyed pretty much everything there. Amazing flavorful food (I ordered Lamb eggplant tagine with couscous and lentos soup) and the sangria was fresh and strong! Even though the service was a little off; perhaps a little too attentive, or maybe a little pushy; their food totally made up for it! Strongly recommended.

Went there for dinner with the family while in Chicago, and I gotta say, this is probably one of the best places I’ve ever been to.
The whole menu is pretty much gluten-free, and it’s not just some crappy substitute version either. They really put time and thought into how to make good food without sacrificing quality while keeping it gluten-free.
I even had a gluten-free falafel — which I didn’t even know was a thing — and it was homemade. Honestly, probably the best thing I’ve ever had in my life.
Highly, highly recommend this place, especially if you’re gluten-free or have gluten sensitivities.

I placed a pickup order at 6:00 PM and they said online it would be 25 minutes. I arrived at 6:50 (a full 30 minutes after it was projected to be ready) and was told it would be another 10 minutes and the kitchen was backed up. There was a … More

Try the appetizer dip sampler! It's delicious! This restaurant is a gem; it's been around since 1974. The service is great! The Tunisian Chicken is savory. The portions are generous; I will have to try dessert on the next visit. More

Solid Mediterranean food. The lamb wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it did the trick. Would’ve loved if they seared it. The dips are to die for though. More

Andie’s is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Gil is nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great shawarma dinner. Must come back. 10/10.

Andersonville restaurant, we tried for a family dinner. Great quad hummus with pita, and kabobs mixed with Angus, chicken and shrimp. Lemon dill rice soup was delicious. Turkish coffee was the best.

Our first time here and we had a great experience.
The servers were attentive and great. The place was clean and comfortably large.
They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a plus. We tried a few different items, overall a lot of food:
Sprouted falafel starter- delicious
Harressa Dip- very good
Veggie Combination #2 - very good
My partner had a meat dish, and he really liked it. Every entree comes with a soup. I had the lentil soup which was the only item I thought was just okay.
Overall I definitely recommend and plan to be back if I’m in the area.

Normally, I love going to this restaurant. The food is excellent and definitely my top pick when it comes to Mediterrean food in the area.
However, last night I experienced a truly disappointing show of service, or lack thereof. My fiancée and I were seated, and it took over half an hour for us to even be offered water. By the time we did get water, all we received was a short hello, glasses of water, and then the water walked away before we could even mention we were ready with our order (which we had ready for the past half hour).
Then, we waited ANOTHER 40 minutes for no waiter to come by and check on us, but the tables next to us were emptied and cleared. We finally gave up and left to receive a cheerful "thanks for coming!", as though we hadn't been waiting for over an hour to even be ASKED to order.
A very disappointing night. Understandably, Saturday nights are busy but considering that the tables next to us had been vacated and cleared while we waited, it's honestly shocking they seemed to have just forgotten us entirely. They also seemed to ignore or not notice our attempts to waive a waiter down.
We would like to come again because we've had and loved the food before, but this did sour our night. Hopefully, the staff can do better with noticing and remembering to attend to ALL their customers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Mediterranean Date Night at Andie’s
My husband and I visited Andie’s Restaurant (5253 N Clark St, Chicago) for a date night, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Mediterranean flavors were vibrant and fresh, and the cozy yet lively atmosphere made it perfect for a romantic evening.
We started with the dip sampler and olives with feta—both beautifully presented and full of bold, authentic flavors. The spring risotto was a standout: perfectly cooked, light yet comforting, and bursting with seasonal ingredients. We also tried a couple of their refreshers, which were as delightful as they were refreshing.
The service was fantastic—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. The space itself is warm and inviting, with a vibe that strikes a great balance between casual and special.
Whether you’re planning a date night, a dinner with friends, or just craving Mediterranean cuisine done right, I highly recommend Andie’s. We’ll definitely be back!
