Located in the heart of the vibrant Carroll Gardens neighborhood, F&F Pizzeria stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of high-quality, traditional pizza making. Situated at 459 Court St, Brooklyn, NY 11231, this establishment has become a familiar landmark for those who appreciate the intersection of culinary craftsmanship and a welcoming community atmosphere. The pizzeria captures the essence of a classic New York slice shop while elevating the experience through a commitment to quality ingredients and time-honored preparation methods. Whether you are a long-time resident of Brooklyn or a visitor exploring the diverse food scene of the borough, F&F Pizzeria offers a straightforward, honest approach to one of the world's most beloved comfort foods.
The philosophy behind the kitchen is rooted in simplicity and consistency. By focusing on the fundamentals—the quality of the dough, the balance of the sauce, and the freshness of the toppings—the team creates a product that resonates with both casual diners and pizza enthusiasts alike. The space itself reflects this grounded approach, providing a comfortable environment where the focus remains squarely on the food. It is a place where the rhythm of the city meets the warmth of a neighborhood kitchen, making it a natural gathering spot for friends, families, and individuals looking for a reliable and satisfying meal.
What Sets F&F Pizzeria Apart
Commitment to Quality Ingredients: Every pie begins with a foundation of carefully sourced components. From the flour used in the signature dough to the tomatoes selected for the sauce, the emphasis is placed on selecting items that provide the best flavor profile and texture. This dedication ensures that each slice maintains a consistent standard of excellence that patrons have come to expect.
Traditional Craftsmanship: The preparation process honors the techniques that have defined New York-style pizza for generations. By allowing the dough to ferment properly and managing the oven temperatures with precision, the kitchen achieves that elusive balance of a crisp, golden crust and a tender, airy interior. This attention to detail is what transforms simple ingredients into a memorable dining experience.
Community-Centric Atmosphere: Nestled on Court Street, the pizzeria serves as an extension of the local neighborhood. The welcoming environment is designed to be accessible to everyone, fostering a sense of belonging that is often lost in more formal dining settings. It is a space that prioritizes the guest experience, ensuring that every interaction is friendly and efficient.
Focus on Culinary Fundamentals: Rather than relying on overly complex flavor combinations or gimmicks, the menu celebrates the classics. By perfecting the essential offerings, the pizzeria demonstrates that true culinary skill lies in the mastery of the basics. This focus allows the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through, providing a clean and enjoyable palate for every visitor.
A Neighborhood Staple in Brooklyn
The enduring success of F&F Pizzeria is a reflection of its deep connection to the Brooklyn community. By maintaining a steady focus on quality and hospitality, the establishment has solidified its reputation as a reliable destination for those seeking an authentic slice. The location on Court Street serves as a hub where the pace of daily life slows down, allowing guests to enjoy a meal that is both comforting and expertly prepared. As the culinary landscape of New York continues to evolve, F&F Pizzeria remains a constant, reminding us that the best dining experiences are often those that stay true to their roots.
When you visit 459 Court St, you are not just stopping for a meal; you are participating in a local tradition that values the craft of pizza making above all else. The combination of a welcoming environment, a dedication to high-quality ingredients, and a respect for traditional techniques ensures that F&F Pizzeria will continue to be a cherished part of the neighborhood for years to come. Whether you are stopping by for a quick lunch or settling in for a casual dinner, the experience is defined by the simple pleasure of a well-made pizza served with care.

First time here. Unfortunately, this was the worst Sicilian slice I’ve ever tried. It was incredibly dry and each bite took so long to chew that I needed water every two bites just to get it down. More

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The pizza looked decent, especially the clam pie. but the crust was dry and lacked flavor, and lService was excellet and super friendly and the ambiance is stunning and welcoming. More

5/5!
F&F is my current favorite cheese and pepperoni slice in NYC. I came here after seeing Babish rate their slice a 9.9, and happy to say my high expectations were met. Both the tomato sauce (a hint of a slight red wine flavor) and mozzarella cheese are extremely high quality and flavorful, but the real shining star of their pizza is the crust. Perfectly charred (but not burnt), crispy and slightly chewy, with incredible seasoning and flavor.
I also tried the Sicilian slice which was made with high quality and flavorful focaccia bread, would recommend getting that one as well.
I'll continue to try more pizza places throughout NYC but for now F&F is my top place to get pizza in New York.
Been here multiple times and it's never been that crowded with minimal wait (F&F is in a quieter residential neighborhood).
They have a small amount of seating indoor and outdoors.

Came here after seeing the 9.9 review by Babish. I got the pepperoni slice that he had reviewed along with the de Nonna (friend got the sausage slice but I didn’t try it). The pepperoni slice fell flat for me and I kept feeling like I needed to drink water each bite because it was so dry. The de Nonna — I was excited because it looked thin and crispy, and the tomato chunks were enticing. I think they were going for crispy, but it just came off as burned. Overall seemed OK — the type of place I would try again if I lived in Brooklyn — but definitely not worth the hour plus it took to get here from Queens.

5 stars across the board. Super nice staff and a pizza place that isn't afraid to char the pizza. If anything thinks this place burns the pizza, get out and go back to pizza hut. Will be coming back here in years to come.

We came here to try slices of pizza and got one with pepperoni and another that had sausage. They heat up the pizza and then we sat in the back area where there is outdoor seating. I thought both slices of pizza were awesome, excellent crispy crust and great flavor with quality ingredients. They have a selection of different types of slices which I think I prefer over ordering a whole pizza here. Staff was nice, prices were reasonable. It's a great way to try pizza by the slice.

I was in the neighborhood shopping on a Tuesday evening after work - so glad I ended up here because it was amazing!
The clam pizza (7$/slice) was the standout. Just wow - super fragrant, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely worth coming back for.
I also tried the sausage and sage (4.5$/slice), which was alright; it’s great when you get a bite where the sage really comes through.
The dough itself was delicious, crisp, flavorful, and with a slight sourdough-like aroma.
I’d definitely make the trek out here again just for that clam pizza. They have lots of seating and free water! There was no wait at all either!

Personally like saucer pizza, or a bit more sauce than this place, so I feel like the place is a bit overhyped. I remember the bread or crust taste more than the sauce. We had regular ($4.5), clam ($8), and Cacio E Pepe ($5.5) slices for $18. We asked the staff to sliced the pizza in half btw. Staff very friendly. Place looks clean.
