As a nicarguan myself who lives in South Carolina where there's no nicaraguan cuisine I miss if so much so whenever we are in Florida I love finding places I can go and feel like home and this fritanga is definitely home! We always visit when we are in Orlando More

The food is ok. However, the food is overpriced. Something I did not like was that they sold snacks from a different country, despite that they are supposed to sell snacks from Nicaragua. I came here for food specifically from Nicaragua. The service is a bit slow. Not coming back. More

Being Nica and having Nica food my whole life, this is pretty authentic and tasty. Prices are high but with inflation and supporting a local business I didn’t mind. It’s pretty relevant to other places and you get a huge portion for the … More

The food is good but the portion size to cost ratio is just not there. I paid $30 for a completa, 2 small queso fritos and 2 soda. The biggest issue was the steak size. I'd be surprised if it was 6oz. More

Great authentic Nica food away from Miami. Usually the further you get from South Florida, the bigger the drop in quality. Not here, it was as good as any Fritanga anywhere. I wish I bought more to go. We had Carne Asada and Carne Desmenusada. It was DELICIOUS and portions large enough to have leftovers. Soo good. More

It was great to get there, I felt close to my Nicaragua, The carne asada was great. But the enchilada with ground beef. Really?? noooooooo. I was expecting to eat enchilada like my beautiful Nicaragua. Suggestion!!! I think the flag should be away the trash. My opinion! Thank you. More

The food was terrible; the rice was nothing more than a sticky mess, the meat was raw, and there was only one sad-looking plantain per serving. It looked ridiculous for a $60 meal!!! More

$20 for a meal with two tiny strips of meat is unacceptable—see the photo I uploaded. This is a plain carne asada plate and it should be $15 at most. The food was just okay, but this place is a complete rip-off. I might as well have ordered takeout from a real restaurant.
Just go to La Lechonera—any location is better than this. This doesn’t even slightly compare to Las Fritangas in Miami, Florida. My friend and I both ordered the same thing, and we are never coming back. I’m genuinely upset that I came here.
$20 would go much further literally anywhere else—Zaza, La Lechonera, Cuban Cafe, anywhere would have been better. The portion size is absolutely miserable, and the value is terrible.

I like this place a whole lot.ts super clean. The attention is a little slow but the soup i got today, beef soup, was like my mothers soup. They have lots of typical products from Nicaragua and big variety of juices and ice cream. Im looking forward to come back and make some more recommendations of food.

Back again years later and oh my, the food was excellent. My wife is from Nicaragua and we both love the food here. If you want to try a Central American flavor, this is the place to be. Don’t get me wrong, this is comfort food at its best. Great Job Fritanga!!! We will back again when we are in town. More

The carne w/ gallo pinto (rice and beans) & en salada was fresh and very flavorful. The fried cheese was very good with a snap to it, the torilla was made in house. The agua fresca (cocao) was refreshing. Im definitely coming back for more. More

Enjoy authentic Nicaraguan food. From Gallo Pinto, Nacatamales, rosquillas and Tres Leches. In addition to the friendly service makes this restaurant one that I recomend. Today they had "relleno" which one of the most important dishes of Nicaraguans during the December festivities. It is a side dish at Christmas Eve dinner and a must have during this holiday.

I will never buy again here, Enchilada was disgusting, it looks like three days has been there, not even my dogs could eat it, it was extremely hard, worst than a rock. Also it looks like they are using a different meat that it supposed to be used, well I will never recommend this place.

We ordered via DoorDash 9/28/2024. We spotted this place on Google maps when planning our trip to Orlando a couple of months earlier. The food was great. We were craving Nicaraguan food and the Carne Asada, Gallo Pinto, Tajadas Verdes, and Papa Rellenas were all delicious. We felt like we were in Managua. Thanks for offering Nicaraguan cuisine. Come to the Kansas City area please. We, along with others will welcome you!
