Nestled along the historic waterfront of Lower Manhattan, Industry Kitchen stands as a testament to the vibrant culinary spirit of New York City. Located at 70 South St, New York, NY 10005, this establishment offers a unique dining experience that bridges the gap between industrial aesthetics and warm, inviting hospitality. As you step into the space, you are immediately greeted by an atmosphere that feels both expansive and intimate, characterized by its high ceilings, exposed structural elements, and a design philosophy that honors the maritime heritage of the East River. It is a destination that captures the essence of the city, providing a backdrop where locals and visitors alike can gather to enjoy thoughtfully prepared meals while taking in the sweeping views of the iconic skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge.
The philosophy behind Industry Kitchen is rooted in the belief that great food should be accessible, creative, and reflective of the diverse influences that define modern American cuisine. The kitchen team focuses on utilizing fresh, high-quality ingredients to craft dishes that resonate with the fast-paced yet appreciative nature of New Yorkers. Whether you are seeking a casual lunch break away from the bustle of the Financial District or a relaxed evening meal as the sun sets over the water, the restaurant provides a versatile environment that adapts to the needs of its guests. The commitment to quality is evident in every aspect of the service, ensuring that each visit is marked by consistency and a genuine passion for the craft of cooking.
Beyond the plate, the location itself serves as a primary draw. Being situated on South Street allows the restaurant to offer a perspective of New York City that is often overlooked in the daily grind. The proximity to the water creates a refreshing sense of openness, making it an ideal spot for those looking to escape the concrete canyons of the city center. The design of the dining area is intentionally curated to allow the surrounding environment to play a role in the overall experience, with large windows that invite natural light during the day and provide a glittering vista of the city lights once evening falls. It is this synergy between location, design, and culinary execution that establishes Industry Kitchen as a notable presence in the local dining scene.

My Family and I had such a great time in the igloo! Such a cool experience! We got lucky that it actually snowed. There was snow on the roof of the igloo and on the ground. They have a heater inside to keep you warm as well. We ordered hot chocolate and it was delicious! This definitely was a Vibe for sure! Food was great and service was too! This was our first time eating in the igloo and we would definitely do it again!

Spacious restaurant with a river view, equally great for a date or for afterwork drinks. Amazing octopus, cooked perfectly well. Lobster tacos are generously stuffed with lobster, Le Frenchie flatbread was also very delicious. My cocktail was colorful but a bit too sweet. Overall I really enjoyed the dinner.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. We were in NYC for the weekend for PlantCon & stumbled upon this restaurant on our last day, right across the street from our hotel. The best lamb & beef meatballs with feta and taziki sauce appetizer. Phenomenal custom lemon drop martini’s and yes we had 3.Passion fruit, apple, lychee. The best pizza that easily compares to Italy. Our server Jonas from Brazil provided superb service. He made us feel totally welcomed and tended to our every need. The manager even came by the table. Good people!!!! Hate that we discovered this restaurant on our last day in NYC.

From the moment we walked in, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every request was handled with genuine care, making us feel truly welcomed and valued throughout our visit.
The food was absolutely stunning. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell there’s real passion and creativity in the kitchen. From the appetizers to the dessert, every bite was a delight.
It’s rare to find a place where both the service and food exceed expectations. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for an unforgettable meal, this is the spot. Highly recommended!
Thanks to Diana, Juan, Eddie, Dustin and all staff whom were very kind and gave us a truly memorable dinning experience.
