Nice local restaurant. Friendly staff and fast service. BBQ being good or bad is relative to one’s own personal taste. The sides don’t seem homemade but good nonetheless.

A Louisburg institution! Gets very busy around dinnertime, especially the drive through. Eating in doesn't seem to have near as long a wait. More

Excellent BBQ. Had to travel to Louisburg today for work, randomly saw Johnny's and decided to give it a shot. I love eastern BBQ but rarely get it since leaving ECU. This rivals anything down there. The place has the perfect look for a BBQ place and a great staff. Would definitely come back. More

I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I'm a huge fan of trying "good bbq." This was good eastern carolina bbq. I was in town for work yesterday. I planned ahead and determined that this was the restaurant i was going to eat at. The slaw was great. The fried chicken was good. The macaroni was basic, but it was sufficiently cheesy and not bad. The hush puppies were awesome; great texture and great flavor. The sauce was excellent great flavor great bite. It was definitely the detail of the meal that won me over. You can have perfectly smoked pork, but bad sauce will ruin it. This did not disappoint. The portions were very reasonable Their service was pretty quick and the staff was pleasant enough. I read another review that bashed the decor, frankly I didn't see anything wrong with it. It wasn't extravagant or anything, just basic carolina bbq joint decor displaying things from their town. If I find myself in louisburg again, I'll be back. I'd like to see fried okra on the menu, but it isn't a deal breaker. It was a great meal.

Lovely restaurant with excellent BBQ! Extremely clean and inviting. Enjoyed the quick counter service of a hot delicious BBQ Plate with 2 sides (Best green beans I've had in a long time). You can tell this business is very organized and is committed to offering a seamless experience during the rush hours. Will definitely be back.

Nasty little girl , no respect, only asked if okra was available. She rolled her eyes to her besties.. looking for support, looked like none given.
Been going there for a long time….. still no okra….
Keep on with these disrespectful folks and the customers will go elsewhere, like us!
Food was mediocre! 21225…. Moving elsewhere

Got our order wrong. Macaroni was watery and bland. Potatoes were hard in the potato salad. Didn’t taste fresh at all. Employees also had an attitude. We used to love eating here but I don’t see us returning in the future :(

In my opinion restaurants like this should serve the popular menu daily. There should not be certain foods served on certain days. Like barbecue, chicken, chicken pastry, daily, I can understand fish on Fridays. The Brunswick stew had a little sweet taste to it, wasn’t a fan of that.

The employees were very kind and polite. The barbecue, and fried chicken were very good. The only issue I had was the Brunswick stew. It was worst I've ever eaten. It tasted liked it had been scorched, with not much taste at all. Other than that it all was delicious. I would go back but I would not eat of that Brunswick stew. More
