Tamales are authentic and delicious. They don't skimp on the meats (unlike many places that give you mostly dough). Can't beat the price.

The tamales had a good flavor, they were small, but the biggest disappointment and the reason why I am giving this place three stars is because there was hardly any beef in the tamales. More

A few months ago the tamales we're bigger and now it seems like they cut them in half. They were out of champurrado again by 10:00am and our order was wrong when we checked at home... switching to Liliana's" in East LA and La Aguila in El sereno🚗💨🍽️✌️ …

Got some for work .. Everyone loved them.. Only reasons for not a 5 is that I went for champurrado and it's very watery not the way it's suppose to be.. And also there a little bit rude.. But really good tómales

I picked up 2 Dozens Tamales this morning after a family friend recommended but I never expected to have the worse tamales Ever!! The más is Raw and not all the way cook just scraped right off. The tamales have almost NO Meat in the See the Pictures Below. The flavor was Ok but only ate a bit off the center and trashed the rest.

2025 UPDATE:
Bought 6 doz tamales for Thanksgiving 2025. Major disappointment 😞 😮💨. Tamales are much smaller, very little meat and dough breaks as if not well cooked. Tasteless!
I drove to South Gate from Chino since this USED TO BE my go to tamale place.
Price is around $2.50 per tamale, however, I'd ather pay $3 at Northgate Gonzalez and get a delicious, normal size tamale, with lots of meat in it and packed neatly in a nice sturdy container, by flavor.
I don't understand what happened to La Doña, but they are longer what they used to be. Sad...

3 Weeks ago I ordered and paid 3 doz tamales, over the phone for Christmas eve pick up. A week ago I called to re-confirm my order, just in case and to prevent any issues.
My pick up time was 9AM but having heard of their long lines on my pick day I called at 6:15am to make sure they would be ready. The manager was very nice and told me they were ready already and I could stop by anytime. I asked how long the line was and she said "The line is very long, but don't worry about that. Since you ordered and paid in advance just come straight to the front to the pick up line.
OMG! I rushed over and the line was like 3 blocks long. I parked, and as instructed went all the way to the front. The pick up line was empty so they gave me my 3 doz tamales and I left. Was in and out within 3 minutes. The best part is that the tamales are DELICIOUS. BIG, LOTS OF MEAT. My loved them and this is now my go to place for tamales. Amigos, skip the line. Order and pat over the phone...FELIZ NAVIDAD🎄⛄🎅😊🎈🎈

5 stars for Corn Tamales!!!! I drive out once a month from So. Orange County, 45miles one way, because no one makes them this good. I don't care for the other meats, I felt they had too much masa for the quantity of meat.
