I ordered Volcano Tonkotsu Ramen for $15.50 and "WOW" it was spicy and delicious, good to the last drop. Also, the service was excellent. More

Ramen was just right size and very tasty. I had the Manichi ramen. Pork belly Bao Bun, ugh so tender and great flavor. Who thought cheese would be great on gyoza as well. Service was also awesomw. More

2025: Stopped by during happy hour…not too many ramen places that offer one. A beer, yakitori, and tonkotsu ramen was less than $20. Pretty good deals. Ramen was good once again, as was the service. The only downside was the yakitori. The … More

Awesome place for great food. The best gyoza I've ever had and we ordered 3 different types. The food was so good my picky 16yo finished her food first. We will definitely be back. More

We came here for dinner. I am a big fan of Japanese ramen and I am pretty picky. First of all, cheese Kyoza was great. But chicken kara-age did not live up to our expectation. It was crispy but salty. And the server did not bring us any … More

Lovely little ramen shop across from Ala Moana Mall. It has a devilish decor with bold red and black tones. The ramen was pleasantly spicy and delicious, featuring Hakata-style straight noodles. More

Solid bowl by US standards.
Expecting Japanese comparison is silly, so I won’t go there.
Creamy Curry/Karee bowl lacked curry flavor and spice but it was very creamy and the flavor was there.
Char siu lacked in both amount and lean/fatty pieces with just one lean piece without char.
The special had greater toppings but the broth further lacked depth. Char siu was forgettable.
The Classic Pork Gyoza was solid, not sure today was an award winning day but it was solid and I can’t complain. Half crisped half soft and tender.
Would have liked some chili or chili oil for the table.
Recommend if you’re feeling ramen, don’t go with unrealistic (Nihon/Japan quality) and you’ll be happy.

The classic Gyoza is really great and The ramen is also terrific. The nacho Gyoza is good but it couldn’t top the original.
We visited on the 4th of July just before close so things were calm and the service was wonderful.

The best ramen on the island, period. We got the Manichi special with corn and it was heavenly. The noodles are delicious and perfectly flavored, the broth is rich and just the right level of spice. The ambiance is chill and the service is impeccable. The owner is really nice and gave us some souvenirs as well. We went twice in a few days and plan to return next time we are in Oahu. Must go!!

A small, no-frills ramen spot near Ala Moana that feels straight out of Japan.
Traditional Japanese craftsmanship, nothing fancy — just real, honest, extremely tasty food.
Not only classic ramen, but also tsukemen worth trying, and the homemade pork gyoza is an absolute bullseye.
One of those places where you forget you’re in Honolulu and feel like you’re eating in Japan itself
