Love the outdoor dining set back from the road with just a field and lots of trees to look at.... A good place to let the dogs let off some steam... The shepherd's pie was quite good and very large and came with an above average fresh … More

We recently vacationed in the area and needed a restaurant that could seat 12, accommodate kid meals and multiple dietary restrictions, and all on a Saturday - and Murph's knocked it out of the park! The food was great, the staff was … More

Irish specialties did not disappoint! Some of the best we've had on this side of the pond. The bourbon raspberry wings were killer and the pretzel reminded me of the ones from Lancaster. The shepherd's pie was chock-full of lamb, beef, and … More

Went for mother's day. The server Kenny was very nice and attentive. The food was good. The Texas fries would've been better if it was actual seasoned beef not the chili meat with the beans, the chili was just ok kinda didn't taste … More

Fantastic service and fantastic food. great Irish-pub type atmosphere. I had a prime rib dinner, and the portions were very generous. The dessert tray is eye-popping. The triple chocolate dessert was to die for. Will definitely come again. More

Food tasted good until I came home and realized my leftover cheese fries had gray hairs IN the cheese. Grossed out to go back after that, given how many hairs were in it. Service was just alright, servers could have been more lively/friendly. More

Nice, cozy place. We were in the restaurant part, visiting from out of town, went in for some lunch and truly enjoyed our experience. Made us feel welcomed, rich menu. Not many vegan options but for the style of the place they offer an incredible verity of other food options.
Everything looked good. I highly recommend it.
Check out their insane pretzel appetizer, one of a kind!!

I wish I could give this place a million stars!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Murphy Hideaway is a place I will be going for the rest of my life!! My husband and I went up every year to the Poconos while we’re dating and engaged and always stopped at Murphy’s for dinner. We always had wonderful service and great food. When we decided we wanted to get married in the poconos I couldn’t have imagined a better place to cater our wedding! Bianca was amazing with communication, helpful, and just awesome! Over the last few months, I was stressing about making sure I had a perfect day but she made it so I never had to worry about catering. Between Bianca, Ashleigh & Noel I had a dream team for food and desserts and everyone at our wedding loved both. They all have marked Murphy’s hideaway down for their future Pocono trips. Even the bear could smell how wonderful the salmon was and crashed the wedding to get some! (Don’t worry we didn’t feed the wildlife)
I just got married this weekend. They helped us set up the day before our wedding and helped clean up the day after. My husband and I are already counting down the days to our anniversary trip a year from now where we go to get Murphy’s Hideaway for dinner and enjoy the fabulous desserts by Sweet & Salty!!
Thank you all again!!

We absolutely loved it!
My family and I were truly impressed. Everything was delicious, and the service was fast and attentive. The food was outstanding — perfectly seasoned, not over-salted, and free of unnecessary spices. Every dish had its own natural, authentic flavor, which is surprisingly rare to find.
We were here for three days, and during all three days we enjoyed different dishes each time. Every meal was excellent, and we were all extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!

Large party, everyone who ordered shepherds pie had hard plastic bits in their food. Sent it back. It also was tasteless and unseasoned.
Mac and cheese was completely tasteless and unseasoned.
Served beer out of chipped glasses as well. Completely baffling experience.
Edit:
Also, they couldn't even split the bill correctly. We have been here for more than three hours going over the bill, explaining that it's not normal to be charged for a comp meal of beef stew (we were not told the price or given another option).
Manager told us we should have told management sooner and tried to offer us a gift card. Management should have been well aware of the issue the moment three shepards pies came back with plastic in them.
I have never had such a ridiculous experience, the owner should be embarrassed.

We stayed at Jack Frost last weekend and went to Murph’s Hideway for dinner 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and prepared super fast. There were 6 of us and all of us were very satisfied with our selections. Burgers were delicious, French onion soup was perfect, nachos were a hit for our family. We also tried 2 stews and both were very good. The drinks were good as well. All of us were happy with our meal so we came back to that place the following night too. It was snowstorm but the place was still open and served food. We will be back to Murph’s Hideaway next time we are in the area. Highly recommend this place.

Great service from seating down to order. Hanging pretzel just great. Cowboy burger is delicious but a little messy while trying to eat it. Served on Texas toast, it is a great choice. Guinness is a good choice. Definitely coming back.
