Really good service, and atmosphere. Food comes out really fast and is delicious. I had the pasta with crawfish and shrimp, which tasted fresh and was very tasty. Definitely recommend. Customers were from all ages with the majority over 40 which had a friendly chill vibe.

By FAR our favorite meal in NOLA! Such a vibe in here at night with loud music and good people. Didn’t have a bad item here + we came twice and shared 4 meals/all different sides. Hushpuppies are the ⭐️ of the show More

A local Uber driver suggested this place, and after checking out all the charbroiled oyster spots around, it’s definitely the best! The oysters are incredibly flavorful and come in large shells. … More

Finally got a chance to check this place off my list. Came for a lunch and to catch the game after the Whitney. The gumbo is really good. Fairly dark reux but still light and flavorful. Lots of shrimp, sausage, chicken and okra. Not that Mississippi gumbo smh. The BBQ shrimp was a somewhat odd mix. It was a combination of both styles, New Orleans butter and BBQ sauce combined? At least that's what it tasted like to us. Huge shell/head on shrimp that were fresh and well cooked. Good hush puppies too. He had a chef salad that he drowned in ranch dressing and enjoyed. Atmosphere is fun, I spent most of my time ppl watching the wait staff instead of watching the Ravens lose. I was curious about the Squatch, but not enough to ask.

This was the best homestyle New Orleans food we had during our time. All the locals recommended this place and it did not disappoint. When we walked in, the restaurant gives off a family style vibe. The place was packed, so we had to wait a little while for our table. The service was good but this place does get crowded, so you may have to wait a little while for certain things. The food was A1! Their fried catfish and red beans & rice were amazing! Plus everything was an affordable price. I wish I had heard about Neyow’s earlier in my trip because I would have ate at this restaurant every day.

Oh my...this place was off the charts with fun and service! The waiter we had should be a comedian! He was awesome! The food was flavorful and delicious! We had pork chops and crab claws. I highly recommend visiting them if you're in the city! We will be back! P.S. Mia-X showed up and took photos with everyone. Very nice of her! Killarney female rapper! She is better than most guys! Great visit!

Neyo’s ATMOSPHERE is a whole vibe….the food…not so much.
Cup of gumbo-well seasoned but very watery.
Ordered the shrimp creole & the shrimp were so small it’s like they took 3 shrimp & cut them into pieces into the dish. ($19). Sent it back for the red beans & rice w/fried chicken. Beans & rice were hot. Chicken was not. All of lacked seasoning. Best item was the sweet brick of cornbread that came with it. Also ‘John Boy’ my server was on point. Drinks looked pretty good. It’s a “sit-worthy” place but don’t expect the food to be the attraction

We had a great lunch here. Fun and lively atmosphere! Great food! Friendly service.
We have the crawfish fries, bbq shrimp and a shrimp po boy. Everything was fresh, excellent flavor and tasty. I would definitely go back.
It was a leisurely lunch and quiet busy on a Sunday during Mardi gras so service was at a calm pace but it fit our vibe for the day.

I've never had my food beat my drink to the table before but I had my Creole Shrimp well before my French 75. However, it's still 5 stars overall because that's the strongest French 75 I've ever had and the food was lovely. I also walked out with a bow wow punch and it would be worth coming back just for that. My server Chelsea was attentive and made sure everything was good, so once again the 4 star rating for service has nothing to do with her and everything to do with my food beating my drink to the table.

This place is a whole vibe. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun with the game in the background and the service was phenomenal. Katrina was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and honest. With her recommendations, we had the best meal. The gumbo was super flavorful, the red beans and rice and the fried chicken, 10/10. Would highly recommend. The breaded fried pork chop was good, too. But the mango mojitos, soooo good!!

A neighborhood institution, Neyow's is Creole comfort. A big menu of myriad Creole favorites will make choosing difficult. The best strategy...order enough for leftovers. We had Fried Chicken, a mixed seafood po'boy and Char-grilled oysters. Great po-boy, lightly battered, nicely flavored. The staff is super friendly, service is super fast.

This place has phenomenal food. We stopped by for lunch and ordered the char-grilled oysters and it was the best oysters I've ever had in my life. I ordered a cup of gumbo and the red beans and rice and they were very good too. After a week-long trip in New Orleans, this was the best restaurant that we visited. I'm also a big fan of the atmosphere and the wall-paintings.
