The source of truth has to be one of the best imperial ale I have ever had. The place also has really good tacos.

Beer is great, the Night Ravine is one of the best I've had. Tacos at this location...not so great. Took 1 bite and the whole thing falls apart. Had to mostly eat with a fork. The Chicken and Pork are too juicy for just a single tortilla. More

Great local place with solid beers. The Belgian blond with coffee was tame enough to have another. Will definitely he back!

Feels like a local favorite! Several families traveling for soccer were welcomed in and treated very well. We enjoyed their beer, nachos, loaded fries, pulled pork sandwich, falafel salad (yum!), wings and quesadillas. I liked the 90s rock playing and the decor is fun. I'd be happy to return if we're in the area again. More

We have ordered in here a few times this is mine and my husbands favorite date night place. But we decided to do the take out Tuesday and help support our local businesses. And unfortunately we have burnt chips.
Come on you guys can do better than this!

Overall, Steep is okay--not terrible but not very good either. We had to ask twice for the table we were seated at to be wiped down. The restaurant doesn't feel clean. The seating at our table was tight, and we are not big people. Both my wife and I ordered the vege tacos, though she wanted the falafel tacos, but they were out of falafel. The vegetables were overcooked (nearly mushy) and the tacos were spicy. Neither of us wanted anything spicy, and food items cooked like this should be listed on the menu. My wife didn't eat most of hers. The service, however, was excellent.

More of a neighborhood tavern that makes its own beer than what I usually expect from a microbrewery, but that vibe really works here. Mexican food and burgers from next door and friendly service. Unique but cool.

Love love love this place. First time here. Best cocktail of my life at this brewery! Their Gran Tarani was out of this world and you could smell the orange liquor before you tasted the chocolate. Was not expecting that they would have cocktails, let alone holiday cocktails because it’s a brewery. Fantastic friendly service and terrific food menu. Great beer selection. Love the cozy feel with the low tin ceilings and holiday lights in this brewery in Highland Park. Great menu selection (also I’m a vegetarian and they had many great options).

Ravinia Brewing is my go-to brewery on the North Shore. Solid, consistent beers that offer a refreshing reprise from hot and humid summer weather. On my most recent visit, The Diversey Station lager wet my whistle and Medusa's Lagoon hazy IPA delivered a hop-forward tropical vacation. The house tacos provide a nice foil to the beers, simple and tasty. The service is always relaxed and friendly. The street-side seating slows the pace of life and lets me relax and imagine a life beyond the rat race of work and adult responsibilities. My wife enjoys the smaller pours that are available.

Fun little brewery that has dome good food options from the place next store (Bwb shakes). They have a cooler to get beers to go. Gets a little packed, but probably 10 to 15 spots at the bar as well.

The food here is very average. I ordered the border bowl and it was probably one of the worst salads I’ve ever had. Everything was thrown on a plate- cold rice, no dressing. At
Least attempt to make it look edible! I should have taken a picture it was so sad. Not worth going here again.

Great place! Friendly staff, awesome beer, food helpings were generous and don't break the bank. I don't give many 5s as a reviewer but they give micro breweries a good name. The small size makes it very cozy. Some day I'll go when they have live music. My wife and I had fun away from the kids, they didn't let us down.

Every town should have its local pub and Steep Ravine does not disappoint! One of the coziest bars in all of the North Shore, whether saddling up to the bar or bringing a group of a dozen neighbors or more. They have a long list of beers on tap and you can take a 4-pack from an even larger selection for when you leave. They have reasonably-sized menu of insanely good apps and meals that pair well with the beers. It’s also a great place to watch sports, from football matches from across the pond, or football playoffs from right here at home. They have outdoor seating on the back patio and right out front on Roger Williams. The owners are very friendly and the staff always make you feel at home. One of my favorite places on the North Shore.

Great spot in downtown Ravinia—Steep Ravine Brewing Company really delivers. The vibe is relaxed but lively, with a great mix of music playing and plenty of TVs showing all the sports you could want. The bartender was super friendly and made the experience even better.
Tried the Food Truck Pilsner and Taco Fest Lager—both were solid, but the Food Truck Pilsner was the standout. It’s got more body than your typical pilsner without any of the bitterness. Honestly, I could drink a hundred of them.
Best brewery I’ve been to in the northern burbs so far. Definitely worth a visit.
