A small restaurant, but makes up for its size in food freshness, presentation, and taste. My mom recommended this place after visiting my Dad's grave. I am glad that she did. I ordered the Chirashi Don. Lots of fresh fish and rice. I also … More

Teishoku! I would definitely say a budget friendly Japanese spot if you're craving it!
Easy parking in Kam shopping center literally right next to Times Supermarket. Off North School St.
TIP: CALL AND MAKE A RESERVATION - it does get packed.
Friendly service considering how busy it gets during dinner. Food was good but I would say their claim of having the best misoyaki butterfish in Honolulu didn't pass in my book. It was a bit dry and not a buttery as other spots I've been too. Overall solid average portions for the price you pay. Don't sleep on this hidden gem in Kalihi.
Clean small ambiance but enough to hold a decent side party especially in the back portion.

Just got off the plane and wanted some real food before heading to the North Shore and we were lucky to find this place along the way. The service was friendly and food was very good. Especially liked the Butterfish and Tempura. Conveniently located in a plaza with a grocery store next door to stock up at! More

I stopped by this restaurant to have my late lunch and found it to be very satisfying. I tried the chicken katsu with rice and curry and the chicken was crispy on every bite and the meat was very good. The curry was perfect to the taste with rice. Moreover, the price was very reasonable for a very clean and classy restaurant. More

Yum! Just-right portions of flavorful food, not too salty, not too sweet. Loved the flaky butterfish bento, agedashi tofu, and hamachi carpaccio. Waited 30 min for a table at noon, worth it. Tempura came with a light umami dipping sauce, which my toddler loved. More
