So we decided to try this place for Valentine's Day (primarily bc Ruth's Chris was booked solid by Feb. 4th). Dining room was nice and our server Diego was superior! The food was an utter disappointment. Hubby got the $69 rib eye, which btw only came with a choice of a potato or salad. His steak was so salty (we like salt) that he had to send it back. The replacement rib eye was loaded with fat, I mean loaded. And not the good tasting fat. He literally ate 2 bites. His app of crab & shrimp was a joke. Shrimp were small. My Osso Bucco was meh at best. A tad dry and barely any sauce. My Cosmopolitan's were probably the worst I've ever had. Again, the server was outstanding, which is why he got a $50 tip on our $188 bill. Wish I can post pics ( i took some, but no option here to do so) of the steak that we brought home for the dog, bc it was literally half fat/ half meat, which didn't taste good at all. We won't be returning and we'll happily pay hundreds at Ruth's Chris where the food is always superior.

Our visit to the Poconos came full circle when my family and I had dinner here. I mean the food was amazing from start to finish. Desserts were so good not too sweet. Staff and service 10/10 exceptional! More

We came early at 4:35pm and had a drink at the bar. We got seated and ordered the edge salad. We got a complementary crostini. OMG my husband and I split the meal. It was big like for three people. We ordered the Chef grill that came with 14 ounce Delmonico steak, 4 ounce crab cake and 6 ounce lobster tail . We had the green beans and substitute the fries for wild rice. It was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. My complement to the Chef. Our server was McKenzie who was great and very attentive. We took dessert home. We took the bread pudding and the hummingbird cake with fruit. Look at the pictures.

My fiance and I are visiting the Poconos for our Two Year Anniversary and found this place on google research. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Everyone was lovely and I did mention our anniversary and they offered complimentary champagne toast. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. Highly recommended.

We went on music Wednesday. The live performance was great but a little loud for a smaller place. The staff was knowledgeable with the type of cut of steak. What I didn't like is how expensive this place is and the waitress repeated the order 2x to make sure it was right and yet the food came out and was placed wrong. It was a party of 7 and we all got the strip but when I ate mine, I told the waitress that I asked for rare and this was medium. Still good and I still ate it but then realized my other guest had my rare stake. I wouldn't say it was bad but when paying for something expensive I expect it to me right. I'm not sure if I would go back but again, I didnt think the food is bad. The desserts definitely made up for the experience. We had the bread pudding and that was really good.

Came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and our first time in Poconos together. The only thing I can say is everything far exceeded expectations. Usually when you let staff know about a birthday, you can expect a cake and everyone singing happy birthday. The Frogtown Chophouse went above and beyond, even to have a handwritten card on the table. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff was hospitable and welcoming. Our waiter Diego was so kind, very knowledgeable of the menu and specials, and really added to the night as a whole. We are definitely coming back.

Can’t believe this place doesn’t have 5 stars! My husband and I stopped In for our anniversary dinner and everything was phenomenal. We literally cannot think of a better restaurant overall that we have ever been to. Everyone was super friendly and McKenzie took excellent care of us at the bar while we waited for our table. Happy hour specials were great! 👍🏼 McKenzie was also very attentive to my nut allergy. Even when we got to our table, she came over because of my husbands drink containing Amaretto. Our sever Samad was also super friendly and attentive. Dinner was the half crispy chicken and seafood trio. Sooo delicious!!! We live about an hour and a half away but we will certainly be back!!!

I’m surprised there weren’t many people here when we went because the food was delicious!! My partner and I went for our anniversary and they literally took care of us, it was a very great experience. They gave us a starter (the wedges) on the house and two chocolate frogs, we loved it so much!! I highly recommend the frogtown wings with the frogtown rub, it won an award for a reason!!

Overall the experience, food and atmosphere were very nice. Our server, young man from NY, was very attentive. The food while delicious overall had some issues. The French fry appetizer had nice flavor but was over salted as were the Brussels sprouts. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection and my half chicken was delicious. A little over priced as well.

After careful coordination with Frogtown’s staff, we were excited to host our event and share the dining experience we’d loved for years. We came to love the steak offerings and the perfection they were made to.
Regrettably, the New York strip steak entrée was a complete failure: nearly half our guests ordered it, but all arrived gray, overcooked, and inedible—sent back, leaving them without a main course. Meanwhile, perfectly cut and cooked steaks were served to regular diners.
Our waiter wished he could be of more help, and he was extremely pleasant, but his hands were tied). There was no onsite manager or chef available to address the issue; we had to handle it via phone with “corporate.” Despite waiting days for outreach, Frogtown offered no apology or follow-up.
I cannot recommend Frogtown for events and regret choosing this venue. I’ll be sure to share this experience with fellow colleagues from the big company next door that host dinners there regularly.

It's so easy to come on here and bash places but when the company or establishment that you go to is like the frog town chopHouse, you have to really appreciate it and come on here and give positive reviews. The place was small but elegant. The menu was small and for me that was good because when a menu small you know the food is going to be fresh. They're not catering to the masses. I really enjoyed my 26th anniversary at this chop House I had the special which was a crab filled steak and mashed potatoes and my wife had a Domenico steak and they were both absolutely amazing I asked for a rare cut and that's exactly what I got she asked for a medium well and that's exactly what she got. The place was clean tables weren't sticky the wait staff was fantastic. We had a waitress named Macy and she took the time to recognize our anniversary and made it a very special night for my wife and I. I don't understand some of the negative reviews because I would rate this as a top five meals of all time I'm 53 years old. If you want my opinion and that's why you're reading this spend the money and go someplace special, and this place was absolutely special

Always a great meal at the Chophouse! The service was great as always. Sam, the server was super sweet and helped us celebrate our engagement by offering us complimentary champagne. We always stay at Woodfield Manor, right behind the Chophouse so the location is super convenient as well.

My fiancée and I went Frogtown this past weekend for the first time for our anniversary dinner and we had a great experience. First, our server; Diego was great. He was super nice, attentive and knowledgeable about the food/drink menu. He greeted us with a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate and substituted our bread for what I believe were siracha potato wedges (which I highly recommend they add to their menu!). He recommended the short ribs & they were excellent. My fiancée got the chicken parm which he also enjoyed and could definitely be a shareable dish. Their award winning dry rub wings were fresh and tasted amazing.
We both also got Christmas special
drinks which we both enjoyed.
Between Diego’s excellent customer service and the quality of the food & drinks we will definitely be coming back!

I have been wanting to go here for years and finally got the chance! This is one of those places where I checked it off my list but will most likely never go back. My husband and I both started off with a drink (cosmo for me and an old fashioned for hubby) which were ok. We got the clamp appetizer and were disappointed with it. The claws were super small, still sandy, and flavorless. I got the biggest piece of chicken ever with my chicken parm entree. Nothing wrong woth it but also nothing to rave about besides the size. My husband got the chef's mixed grill entree. Again, nothing to rave about but good. My favorite parts of the WHOLE meal was the creamed spinach! Finished the meal with bread pudding which was yummy. This is just my opinion but you may love it! Give it a try.
