First time checking out this place, and it was a good experience.
Service/Bar: They let us choose where to sit, so we picked the bar area. The bartender made a small mistake with my drink but fixed it super fast, so no … More

Saw this restaurant was relatively new and decided to give it a try. Had the fried biscuits, duck tagliatelle and the braised beef short ribs. All the food was delicious. The hand whipped ricotta on the tagliatelle made the dish. The Demi … More

I enjoyed the chill Thai wings and my feta mushroom flat bread pizza with a Dirty Shirley cocktail. Not sure if the waiter’s behavior was an indication of colorist bias or not, but the people I was with believe it might have been … More

What a wonderful experience. The braised beef shortrib just fell apart. The demi glaze had a strong umami to it. The only food issue i had is that the broccolini was slightly over done and crispy at the ends. … More

I went here with my partner and we thought it was a good date spot.
While pricey, the entree options were good portions and tastey. However, I do have to say that the food was pretty over salted. I over salt my food and I often add salt to any dish I get, yet my partner and I both thought almost every item was on the overly salty side. I know some people don’t like salt so this is something to be aware of. My partner said that his pork chop was a little over cooked but most in restaurants are to be fair. My steak was perfectly medium rare
Know that there are two parts of the restaurant. We had no idea until we went to go to the bathroom before we left. We would’ve preferred to not sit on the side with the bar and the tv for the date. It was not rowdy or anything but the other side looked much more date vibes.
Overall, a good option.

Showed up for a solo dinner while in town for a few hours, sat immediately, served by the friendliest folks, drink came immediately, phenomenal appetizer of red and golden beets (some of the best I’ve ever had), perfectly prepared steak frites, an helpful smiles from everyone. I picked it off the map for location, I couldn’t have found better! Thanks to everyone at The Mill Raleigh for making my spontaneous solo dinner out a lovely and delicious evening!

New to NC so trying all the places. The Mill has a wonderful atmosphere, the background music was awesome. We were a little early for dinner service (we didn't realize they closed the kitchen) but they still seated us and happily helpeus as we waited. Our sever was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. My husband had the catfish and "loved" it. I had the short rib as suggested by our sever. It was good just a tad over cooked. We will be back.

I had a fantastic dining experience here. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a comfortable and inviting vibe. The candles on the tables added a romantic touch, making it an ideal spot for couples enjoying a date night.
The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. The servers and waiters were attentive, professional, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and top-notch service. Definitely a 5-star experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a great experience at The Mill Raleigh. I enjoyed both the food and the drinks, but the ambience was truly the best part of the visit. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Neat place. The servers and staff were very nice upon entry. We were sat pretty quickly. We had Simon as our server and he was exceptional. He provided prompt customer service and recommendations on the menu as well. The food was pretty mid here. I got the trout and it was very salty. They offered to take it back and I tried the salmon instead. The flavor was better but it tasted like something I can make at home. The flatbread was tasty and so was the ceasar. I would probably revisit to try their other selections.
