Pro: Best Cinnamon Bolognese in NYC
Con: Best Cinnamon Bolognese in NYC
We ordered the bolognese and it had a very strong cinnamon flavor. Every single bite tasted more like cinnamon than tomatoes. We brought this up to our waitress and she told us that traditional bolognese is made with cinnamon. She said the chefs make the sauce with WHOLE CINNAMON STICKS. I'm no chef... but I'm pretty sure bolognese is made with a pinch of nutmeg, a PINCH of NUTMEG In what world are we tossing WHOLE CINNAMON STICKS into a bolognese?
2 stars simply because I am too uncouth to enjoy a traditional cinnamon bolognese.

Was looking for Italian food and this location was close to our hotel. The decor was bright and comfortable, but seemed disorganized. We ordered two salads and they both were reasonable, fresh ingredients. The short ribs lasagna was ok, not particularly impressive, maybe a bit too soft in texture. Service was good.

Quite a tourist spot due to the location. More a diner rather than an Italian restaurant. Realized after that they also have a lunch sandwich menu, which wasn’t offered. The salad was ok, although my friend throughly enjoyed her eggplant. More

Nothing fancy, but a wonderful place with good food and service. Located diagonally across the street from MSG. A great choice when seeing a show. We had no problem booking dinner for 10. All the food was perfect. The beet salad was amazing as was the pasta with seafood, eggplant, rolled chicken saltenbuco etc. More
