Beautiful, nice layout. Stuff friendly, no reservation required, and a variety of options on the menu. I ordered avocado toast with a poached egg. It's delicious and a must-try if you're health-conscious. They have a fresh orange squeeze—a refill of coffee keeps coming—perfect for a family or friends getting together for breakfast. More

Lucy was an incredibly attentive and helpful waitress. The food was incredible and the new to me loose leaf tea was delicious. Sadly, we don't live nearby. However, if we visit again, I will definitely stop here for breakfast and pineapple tea. More

Been here before for breakfast and it was tasty so I thought lunch would be also unfortunately it was not. Food in general was very salty, the fish in the fish and chips dish was a bit dry and tartar sauce did not look or tasted like tartar sauce. So from my experience breakfast gets 👍 but lunch is👎. … More

First time here, me and my bf both got the steak skillet and pancakes and he got a choc milk. All this came out to almost $70 for 2 skillets, 2 orders of pancakes which were both dry; we took one bite and were done.. $4.20 for the chocolate milk is overkill. We never received any napkins either while eating either More

Elly’s Pancake House is such a great spot. We went on a Saturday when it was super busy, but the staff were phenomenal very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.
We tried a variety of dishes and everything was excellent. The potato pancakes were crisp and flavorful, the waffle flight was a fun way to sample different toppings, and the cinnamon roll was warm and delicious. The chilaquiles without eggs were some of the best I’ve had, and the veggie skillet was hearty and satisfying. The s’mores pancakes were a fun treat with ice cream, and the stuffed toast was rich and perfectly done. We also enjoyed the frappe, freddo espresso, and freddo cappuccino, which were a great way to round out the meal.
Portions were generous, the food came out quickly despite the crowd, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a brunch spot with both sweet and savory options.

We come here almost every Sunday cause my husband and I love the cream of chicken rice soup but this time it was lacking chicken and rice. Not what we’re used too and also why we came in. We ordered Rueben sandwich which was really good and Smothered biscuits and gravy which was lukewarm. Our son ordered cinnamon rolls with ice cream. He loved it. Our waitress Laura P was great. She was attentive and friendly. Overall our visit today was okay.

This was probably our favorite place we ate at while visiting the Chicago area. Everything we ordered for breakfast looked and tasted great! We wanted to try to get back there one more time before leaving to try some other things on the menu, but unfortunately, time didn't allow us to do that. Our waitress, Lucille, was phenomenal as well. She was kind, friendly and very attentive to us from start to finish. She saw us eyeing up something that she was delivering to another table, then showed us on the menu what it was. Lol. How awesome is that? Everything about this place was great and I cant recommend it enough.

Horrible food. Never get the steak they will not bring it out to you fresh and to your request of how you like it cooked. I ordered medium rare and got it fully cooked and it tasted like how the meat aisle of fresh farms smells. I could not cut into it without the whole plate moving along with it because it was so hard. The steak wasn’t even hot when it came out and it felt like it was reheated in the microwave. The waiter wasn’t even trying to smile and when i asked for something he just nodded and looked annoyed. The eggs were slimy and had liquid underneath it and it also tasted like the smell of the meat section of fresh farms both foods smelled and tasted like fresh farms do i even need to say what section? And the toast was so hard and stale i felt like i broke a bracket on my braces. It was so loud i could barely hear myself or my mom talk. The water tasted so bad i didn’t even know that water had a taste. The food was cold but the plate was hot how does that make sense? Overall i would never go here again. Not w single hint of pink.

Breakfast at Elly's was wonderful. We got more food than we could eat at such an affordable price and it was absolutley delicious! The food and service is excellent. It is a comfortable place to dine and visit with family or friends. It has a varied menu that makes everyone happy. Waitress was nice. Food came out fast! biscuits and gravy was good egg was cooked perfectly! Biscuits were dry and stale only disappointing thing about the dish but the hash browns was on point well done and pancakes were different but I liked it! 100% recommend!
