A Culinary Connection to the Coast

The restaurant recognizes that the city’s identity was built on the backs of those who worked the docks and navigated the waters surrounding Manhattan. Every aspect of the operation, from the way the space is managed to the thoughtful curation of the menu, is intended to pay homage to the maritime workers who once defined this corner of the world.
The culinary approach is grounded in the belief that great seafood requires minimal intervention. By focusing on the freshness of the catch and the expertise of the kitchen staff, the restaurant creates a dining experience that feels both timeless and relevant. Guests are encouraged to explore the nuances of different preparations, each designed to showcase the unique characteristics of the ingredients. This dedication to craft ensures that the restaurant remains a staple for those who value authenticity and a genuine connection to the culinary traditions of the Atlantic coast.
As the city continues to evolve, Fulton Fish Co. remains a steady presence on South Street. It serves as a reminder that even in a metropolis as fast-paced as New York, there is always room for a quiet corner where history, culture, and quality food intersect. Whether you are seeking a place to reflect on the city's maritime roots or simply looking for a reliable and welcoming spot to enjoy a meal, the restaurant offers a unique perspective on what it means to dine in the Seaport District. Might be the worst fish and chips ive had for $32. Service and atmosphere are great.
Food is overpriced for the quality. The “chips” were large unseasoned soft potatoe wedges. The mussels were large and had no sauce so they just steamed them. Quality of food was very strange given how cool the building is.

This Fulton Fish Co. stays true to what makes it special. The yelp reviews highlighted this restaurant correctly. They don't hold back on serving sizes. I'm committed to dining here regularly. This place leaves me wanting more. More

The Rissoto was excellent and the white wine was the perfect accompaniment. Service was discrete and always timely and the atmosphere was American casual but with a distnct European flare. A most enjoyable lunch! More

Besides the crispy rice dish, the food was truly underwhelming to the point of almost being unpleasant. I was so desperate to love this place as I love the location and ambiance. The bakery near it was amazing, though. More

I have to say for the small amount of food the prices are a bit high.
