Obviously if you want Hu Tieu then this is the place. The service is a bit slow to seat you but it'll happen eventually. The prices on Vietnamese food has gone up across the board and I'm starting to question if it's even worth it. I've … More

This is our go to place for hủ tiếu noodle. It never fails to satisfy our craving for a good bowl of noodle with pork, shrimp and squid in a pork bone broth. We also love to eat it with their pickled garlic and jalapeno. These two side … More

My 2nd time here. First time I had the hu tieu and it was on point. This time I tried a soup called Canh Bun. It's supposedly one of their special dishes. This is my first time ever eating this soup and it was absolutely delicious! Give it a shot if you stop by.

Excellent restaurant with a wide variety of vietnamese dishes. The pho was delicious and the broth very flavorable which added to the overall delightfulness of the dish. I've heard from friends about this place and we tried and liked it very much. More

I was so hyped to try this place after reading all the positive reviews, but it was underwhelming. Since hu tieu (noodles) is their specialty, I had to try the dry version of hu tieu My Tho.
Pros:
1) Chill and quiet atmosphere.
2) Wide variety of food options besides noodles
3) Plenty of parking available.
4) Noodles come with plenty of shrimp, squid, and liver.
Cons:
1) The sauces used were so bland that I had to sprinkle some fish sauce and vinegar on my noodles.
2) The service was lacking. I had to flag down a server to retrieve a missing order for someone in my party. Turns out it was sitting in their microwave the whole time.
Overall, I’ve had better and worse noodles before.

Having just had six teeth pulled and unable to chew food, Pho became my beacon of salvation from the ocean of hunger. I am not Vietnamese, but I am a true foodie. I first had Pho when I was in college in New York, and then I would look for places to eat Pho every time I went to a new city. For decades, I have traveled around the world to countless countries and wrote food guides for some cities where I stayed for a long time. I arrived in Dallas before the COVID-19 pandemic, and this was not the first restaurant with Pho I encountered. I stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping in the supermarket the following month, and I found the original taste I had been looking for half the world, and then this became my base for eating Pho in DFW, and I brought all my friends here. The boss is serious and guards the lobby all year round. She is a very kind and friendly lady, and so are the other employees. I love this place and recommend it to everyone! !

Hu tieu is not as good anymore. The broth tastes like it came from canned chicken broth. The flavors aren't there like they used to be. We're disappointed!

Food is very good. The roast pork is always juicy, tender, and definitely crisp skin. The fried pork dumplings or wonton soup are REAL pork n shrimp fillings that are huge. No small single bites.
The service is good, but no seems to be friendly. At times I get the feeling I am a burden in their lives.
The atmosphere is okay. It is a "mom and pop" business so there is nothing fancy about this restaurant. It is safe and clean enough to enjoy your meal.

If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the DFW area, this is the spot! 🤩 I’ve been coming here for years, and it has never disappointed me. The service is warm and friendly, and the menu offers a great variety of dishes. I highly recommend their signature Hu Tieu My Tho and Canh Chua Ca Kho To, always top-notch!

Go to place for Hu Tieu in DFW. For Vietnamese restaurants, I generally recommend getting what they are known for.
I get a mix of egg noodles and pho noodles with the variety of meat and seafood. Soup and dry version is great!
Service is simple, order quick and food comes quick.

My friend recommended me to come here for their famous dish- Hu Tieu My Tho. When I walked inside the restaurant, a wave of nostalgia swept over me when I saw the owner was wearing Ao Ba Ba, a traditional Southern Vietnamese garment welcomed customers.
Hu Tieu is a Vietnamese popular breakfast noodle dish in Southern Vietnam and can be served as a soup or dry. But, if you don’t like Hu Tieu, they also have Pho, Rice porridge , Rice plate, vermicelli; you name it, they got it. Also a long list of appetizers and beverages. We ordered a bowl of Hu tieu Ca (Rice noodles Fish soup), Hu Tieu My Tho (clear noodles, dry version, served along side with hot bowl of savory pork broth),egg rolls and grilled pork. Imo, they serve authentic and comforting Hu Tieu bowls. I really loved the toppings - pork, pork liver and seafood was cooked perfectly, and broth was very tasty. I liked to add pickle garlic and jalapeños to give it a kick. Our orders came out within 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind they will charge a fee if you pay by card. Service was friendly. I”ll definitely come back next time visiting Dallas.
