I had an amazing first experience at Iron Age in Glenview! Everything from the atmosphere to the food was fantastic. The Hawaiian-style beef was a standout—perfectly marinated, tender, and packed with flavor. The rice cakes were also incredibly tasty—chewy, crispy, and addictive!
I want to give a special shout-out to our server, J.O., who was absolutely phenomenal. Super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was running smoothly the entire time. Service like that really elevates a meal!
I was actually introduced to Iron Age by my son—it’s his favorite place to eat, and now I can absolutely see why. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, flavorful, and satisfying Korean BBQ experience!

The service was absolutely top-tier, I never once had to ask for refills because they were always one step ahead. Our waiter, Andrew, was hilarious, super friendly, and made the whole experience even better with great conversation. The food was incredible as always, and the vibes were on point the entire time. This place never disappoints. Will definitely be coming back again and again!

While the food was good and the service adequate, it's very annoying when they practically push you out the door when you hit the two hour mark. Also, we were a group of 4 adults and a 1 year old and while they didn't charge us for her, they did include her in the count for auto gratuity that occurs with parties of 5 or more. Auto gratuity should only be applied to paying guests. Had he not fraudulently added it to our bill, he would've ended up with a higher tip as I traditionally tip 30%, especially when my daughter is with me as she can be a bit messy (she didn't make any mess this time). I might go to the other location, but I won't give this one any more of my money. Also, as others mentioned, it's incredibly loud and hard to have a conversation without screaming (though maybe they do that so you leave sooner).

4.5 stars ! Read as to why!
Great service by our server. We came with a big party (10) despite how chaotic the party was, our server was professional and very patient.
The meats were great and had good selection. They were seasoned really well and had great flavor. The deduction of star is just due to lack of options for sides.

👋🏻 Hey fellow Google Mappers! ☺️ This was my first time going to Iron Age location in Glenview, IL. I went with my boyfriend, my parents, my uncle, & my aunt. We went around 11:30 am - 12 pm and it wasn’t busy which was awesome. We were waiting for my parents to come, but the waiter seated us.
⭐️ Customer Service: The staff were friendly. We were seated right away. The waiters were awesome about giving us our food and switching out the grill plate when it needed to be switched out.
🍽️ Food/Drinks: The food was really good!
I only had Korean BBQ one other time in my life and I thought it was good, but I think Iron Age may be my go-to Korean BBQ spot.
🚽 Bathroom: The bathrooms are located towards the back of the restaurant. They were very clean. In the ladies room, there are only 3 stalls.
🛍️ Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience at Iron Age at the Glenview, IL location. The staff were friendly, it was clean, & delicious food.
💌 I hope this review helps Iron Age in the Glenview location, Iron Age in general, & its current and future customers.
Have an amazing day! ☺️

I have no complaints. My wife & I ordered the Bulgogi, pork belly. Rice & steamed eggs very good. The K-pop vibes were very nice. Definitely eat your food right off the grill cause the food cools down very fast! Service I had no complaints. Everything was taken care of in a timely fashion. It was my wife’s 2nd experience at a hot pot is was my 1st. If you want the food hotter maybe ask if they can turn the grill temp up. Other than that. Very nice experience I had. Food was very good. 2 servings between the both of us left us full. The pricing all u can eat around 30 per person so can’t beat that!

Everything about this location is beautiful but unfortunately I can’t say that about the server Adam who was serving us February 28th 2026 he was extremely rude and disrespectful did not ask if we needed anything else after 15 minutes since I was the one asking for something. Night would have been better if attended by another server since the server we had was unexperienced and rude in every aspect of his job description would rather eat a McDonald’s if this is the type of service I get from such a nice place would not recommend. Also he would not let us order more food unless he changed the grill after every item. Can’t say the same for there Chicago location which is way better in every aspect. DO BETTER ADAMN.
