Great meal for my dad’s birthday at Kevin’s last evening! We don’t visit often enough but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Classy place with a great menu, great bar and bartenders that know what they’re doing. All in a cool environment with excellent wait staff. Tequila Roja and Onion Soup shown. More

We went there for Valentine’s Day and they had a special menu, I got the filet and mashed potatoes, both were amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly was able to cut it with a butter knife, the mashed potatoes were amazing & definitely not the boxed kind. Also got French onion soup, absolutely phenomenal with all the different cheeses they use in it! My other half got a ribeye and mashed potatoes, his steak had some kind of white cream sauce over it which was extremely delicious! He got the Caesar salad, we shared the appetizers, the salad was delicious with a good amount of croutons, no “ugly” lettuce and the dressing was just right not to much of a “fishy” taste just enough also very creamy and used a good amount didn’t need to ask for extra or less. It was perfect! The service was also amazing, very nice and continued to check on us, we didn’t have to wonder where she was. Was so full but still got dessert to go, the chocolate peanut butter cake/mouse, it was good, not as good as the other food though. Definitely recommend to others! Also recommend making reservations especially if you plan on going during a holiday or weekend!

Part of the Freidman's franchise, Kevin's emits a more laid back bistro ambiance. Lots of people go for the steak (recommended) but they also offer pasta dishes and fish.
My main takeaway is their food is delicious and well thought out, but the portions don't match the pricing.
Otherwise, the service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice for a date night or friendly gathering.
I don't think I'm coming back for a while.

I took my fiancée here for her birthday. We were immediately impressed with the vibe: lively and upbeat. Within minutes of being seated water was served and our waitress arrived to take our drink orders and review their specials. We also had bread and a hot chili dipping oil. The oil was warm which heightened the flavor experience. We split a house Cesear salad and fried calamari with sweet chili aoli. Both were delish. She had the haddock and chips while I had the sirloin steak and asparagus special. Both were excellent. The haddock was lightly breaded and the shoestring fries were ample. The steak served medium rare was tender and flavorful while the thin early spring asparagus were tender from tip to stem. The drinks were well mixed-kudos 👌 to the bartender for that. The vanilla bean creme brulee was sweet and creamy. Kevins is now our favorite place to dine.

You Need To Know? Restaurant reviews

You Need To Know? Arrived with reservations & we were seated immediately. We were offered drinks right away which consisted of Sangria, smoked cherry old fashioned, & a tea. We ordered the black truffle honeywhipped ricotta, French onion soup & the butternut squash bisque. The onion soup came out rather dark & burnt. The whipped ricotta tasted bland, just a bit more seasonings needed. Our meals were the pork chop on the bone, chicken cordon blue & the shrimp & scallops sambuca. The sambuca & pork chop were delicious & very flavorful. Good choices. The chicken was overcooked & very tough for chicken. Also did not include some form of ham for a "cordon blue ". Service was prompt & polite. Now You Know! -TBH

This was our first time at Kevin's bar & restaurant. The restaurant is not directly on Wyoming Avenue, but it is in the parking lot behind Fidelity bank. The parking lot was filled, and so was the restaurant. This was a great indication! The exterior has a red painted brick, polished-industrial vibe with two clear igloos for dining outdoors. The interior has a high ceiling with glossy, rose gold/salmon painted brick walls. It is very warm, cozy and charming. However, since it is a reimagined industrial complex with an expansive interior, it can be a bit difficult for quiet conversations. We were seated at a wooden table, set with linen napkins, silver settings, white porcelain dishes and a candle. There was an extensive list of craft cocktails, whiskeys, tequilas and liquors. The list was so extensive, the text was small and challenging to read. They also offered wine and beer. I ordered a Reisling. They brought out some freshly baked bread with a plate of salt, pepper and garlic seasoned oil to dip in. This was so delicious we ordered a second! I ordered the "all the onions" soup to start and the grilled octopus appetizer as my entree. The french onion soup was topped with melted cheese and was delicious! The octopus appetizer, was accompanied by grilled grape tomatoes, fingerling potatoes, halved green olives, and andouille sausage. I especially loved the perfectly seasoned grilled tomatoes! Our table ordered creme brulee for dessert and there was plenty to share. They had multiple dessert cocktails, ports and dessert wines to choose from. We loved our first experience and plan to return soon, with friends!
Our second visit we had a great two person booth by the bar. We loved it because it is semi private and more intimate. We enjoyed the roasted pear baby arugula salad. The fresh bread and oil dipping was again, NOT to be missed. The original cocktails were visually appealing, delicious and worth repeating. The 14 oz ribeye and the deconstructed chicken pot pie were not the best choices for us. Our next visit we plan on ordering filets.
