Second day here in a row. I had to come back for again for the Blueberry Buckle Pancakes, they are absolutely delicious. The wife and kids both ordered breakfast (Pancakes and eggs with biscuits). Food was hot and came out in a timely manner. Staff is very polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Restaurants is very clean and modern. I highly recommend this dinner

Stopped in for breakfast. There was barely a seat available as most tables were filled and even the counter seats were almost filled too. We were seated promptly. Service was excellent even with the restaurant being almost filled to capacity. Definitely recommend the Mystic Kitchen.

We have been here twice, including this afternoon. We had breakfast the previous time and lunch today. Both times were fantastic, and we really enjoyed our food. The blueberry cobbler pancakes were probably the best pancakes I've ever had! My omelet was also good the morning I had breakfast here. Today, I had a Monte Cristo, which was very good as well. The fries are cut fresh and so much better than fast food fries. Both times we had friendly, quick service. I highly recommend Mystic Kitchen!

I absolutely loved my first experience at Mystic Kitchen! I enjoy eating breakfast, but not at home (I never make enough time for it). I also enjoy stopping at diners because to me they just have a more "home" type atmosphere and the food tends to be more homestyle than chain restaurants. Mystic Kitchens did NOT disappoint. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was cozy and the food was out of this world good. Now as I said, I enjoy breakfast and love to eat at diners, and strangely, I believe here is no better toast than diner toast, but I've never before have said the toast was even excellent because mostly they all taste similar and are very good, but this toast was amazing!!! The bread was so fresh and toasted to that perfect color, the butter melted perfect and the flavor was just amazing. The coffee was strong and hot and the refills were made promptly. I love my home fries, but normally ask for peppers and onions to be added, but I forgot to ask for the addition, however, unlike other times that happened, I was so glad I did. The home home fries were fried to perfection and so tasty, I will never ask for peppers and onions here! The rest of my meal was equally good, but the toast and home fries were the standout for me. The prices were as I hoped and not overpriced at all. Such a friendly atmosphere. I will be back, as I need more of those breakfasts and I also have some other items I need to try on their menu.
Thank you so much Mystic Kitchen for this enjoyable experience.

Mystic Kitchen, located on 1867 North Memorial Highway in Shavertown, Pennsylvania, is a clean and inviting breakfast/lunch diner with a charming staff. The comfortable establishment consists of a handful of tables with plenty of stool seating at the bar. We were fortunate enough to visit on a sun-filled morning, as the diner’s interior was filled with plenty of daylight coming through the windows. My only complaint is that cushions should be placed on the wrought-iron chairs.
We arrived shortly after 11 on a Monday morning, were warmly greeted by our server, and immediately seated. Just before 11:30, our late breakfast was placed on our table.
The three-egg, meat-lovers omelette was very good. The fluffy eggs were filled with ham, sausage, and cheese. The dish came with a side of homefries and two slices of toast.
The show-stopper, however, were the blueberry buckle pancakes, topped with fresh blueberries, powdered sugar, tasty cinnamon strudel, and a rich vanilla glaze. The two pancakes were very big, almost covering the entire plate.
In addition to omelettes, pancakes, and eggs, Mystic Kitchen also offers a variety of hand-pressed burgers, an assortment of sandwiches, wraps, and salads.
Mystic Kitchen inhabits a structure that housed a couple of failures in the past, but I hope this place can survive. Parking is sufficient for such a small diner, but access to the parking lot can be a little tricky, as there is very little space between the highway and the parking lot. Locals can no doubt navigate the entrance and exit points, but I hope those not familiar with the property don’t find it off-putting to the point where they decide to dine elsewhere. It would be a shame, since Mystic Kitchen has a lot to offer their customers in terms of a quick quality meal and pleasant service.

Super cute little restaurant, serving breakfast and sandwiches. I ordered the Monte Cristo. It was fresh and made to order. As a Hazletonian I was surprised to see a Meatball and Scamutz sandwich on the menu - which my hubby ordered. Both sandwiches were delicious and hit the spot. I will gladly go back next time Im in the back mountain.

We stopped in for an early lunch and were happy that breakfast items were still available. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The stuffed French toast was delicious. Country fried chicken was good, a lot of gravy. Mashed potatoes were yummy with lumps, not over mashed. Chicken tenders came with fresh cut fries. We will definitely be back. I'm looking forward to trying some of their sandwiches and other breakfast items. The restaurant was very busy and a little warm. It was very hot outside.
