Came here with a few friends for my first time and had a few apps and lunch. The mussels are to die for and the polpette (a fried meatball) was off the chart. I was told to try the fried chicken piccata sandwich and wasn’t very impressed to … More

The food is good, but the experience this time was disappointing. We were charged an automatic 20% gratuity for a party of 6, even though 2 of those guests were 2-year-old children who slept the entire meal. The server didn’t interact with … More

First time in San Diego, and walked by this place . It looked inviting, so we stopped for lunch. Wow! Lamb tacos and crab melt.... again, wow! So good.
The ambiance was nice, and the service was fast and accurate. Everything was in point. Will try to return before we leave. More

Everything was good. They have a patio that is covered and you can bring your dog. The food was amazing. The house salsa that came with my sandwich was so good that I took an extra home. The sandwich was a really good size, the chicken and the bread were soft. The fries were on point. The server didn’t rush us which was nice.

Still one of my favorites in San Diego. Prices high but they still deliver good food. Check out the specials. And always ask for the habanero green salsa (comes with the lamb tacos). Also, great beer selection.

A small place that is big with great food, atmosphere, and service. Our party showed up and was seated immediately by an attentive employee. The server greeted us and asked if we were comfortable and needed anything right away. He explained a few answers to some questions we had about the menu. He made us feel comfortable. He came back in a bit and took our orders. The food arrived very quickly. We ordered a variety of food. It was all delicious. Our refills were filled when needed. After we finished, he cleared our empty plates very quickly.
After, I stepped up to the bar and asked some questions about a certain type of whiskey that was on hand. The first bartender was not sure what was available and referred me to another bartender with more knowledge of what they served. She listed 4-5 types of Rye whiskies. I was thankful for her response.
I went back to my party. We sat and talked more. The server was still attentive to our party. Great service.
I fully recommend this restaurant if you want a great meal with an awesome atmosphere for feeling comfortable. We will return.
