Hands down, amazing! Wow. Everything we tried was so darn good! The salad, the focaccia bread, the pastas, drinks, and desert. So fresh and so flavorful. Say yes to anything whipped!! My goodness, they whip anything into the most delicate clouds. So light, so creamy and smooth. Definitely coming back to try more!

Excellent food and attentive service--even on a busy night. Everyone felt down to Earth! We really enjoyed the ricotta focaccia, red pepper pasta, and banana bread in particular. Food was flavorful and portion size was perfect. The espresso martinis were nice and strong, too. I'll come again. More

Very delicious and tasty. Good service! Caco o Pepe is amazing and so are the other meals. The salads are delicious too. Although they use plastic cups and rewash after people drink which is the not best part about it so you might wanna take your own water but that’s really it More

The atmosphere was okay. It was super loud in there. There was a group of young kids in there so loud you would think you were in chucee-cheese idk if they had parental supervision or not cause they just had a big table and they were extremely loud and yelling all the time. Made the experience really bad. The tables were really small and super cramped in there. If you are claustrophobic I do not recommend this place because you will be sitting so close to the other guests that you can hear their conversation. The server was nice and attending us quickly but the food was terrible. We both got pasta with different sauces and they both tasted like velveta Mac and cheese. We BOTH got EXTREME STOMACH PAIN LATER. It even caused my wife to THROW UP in the middle of the highway going back home. Not a good experience. Could’ve been a lot better

I won’t be coming back. There are simply too many good Italian restaurants in Brooklyn to waste a night (and a check) on mediocrity or worse.
Let me be fair where fairness is due: the shrimp scampi was better than average. Not just edible, not merely decent, actually better than most I’ve had. That was the high point. Unfortunately, from there, the meal took a devastating turn.
The sausage and peach Ragu was an outright failure. Sweetness and richness can dance if balanced well, but this dish? It crashed through the floor. The sweetness overwhelmed, the sausage underwhelmed, and the texture clashed. It was the culinary equivalent of a blind date who brings their ex along.
To top it off, I need to invoke what I call the Dog Protocol™: when leftovers don’t even tempt me for a second round, they go to my dogs. In this case, that Ragu skipped any consideration, it went straight from the plate to the pups. And let the record show: they didn’t hesitate. They devoured it. But that says more about their lack of discernment than the dish’s merit.
The space is charming. The staff is kind. But no amount of ambiance or goodwill can rescue a dish that shouldn’t have left the kitchen.
Brooklyn has standards. So do I.

Hi, cute little spot! Servers and host amazing!
The place was packed and everyone was having a good time.
The Louis’s shrimp scampi was amazing!! Got about 5 shrimps and the Sauce finger linking good.
I got the peach ginger mocktail, I had 2 it was so refreshing.
I didn’t like that we don’t get to choose our own pasta. Chef choses 1 pasta per day thus my kids didn’t get to choose spaghetti how they wanted it. They didn’t enjoy the food.
I got Dad famous red pepper sauce with the prosciutto. I did not enjoy it. Overall okay , I would definitely return to try more food options.

What's going on here? The pasta was awesome. The staff actually knows about food. The space is super charming. FYI - While the pasta was seasonal and fresh, the farro salad is totally slept on. I finished it off with a cup full of tiramisu and a second negorni. Rock on Louise. See you soon. More

First time I ordered was great. Then next two times quality went down to hell hole. Over priced. 2 pasta was 55$? That’s wild. Paid $6 for shrimp on the pasta. You gave me 3 small shrimps ? I can buy a whole bag for $6. Never again. Very disappointed

What a delicious meal! Pasta Louise may be hated on by the Park Slope community, but the daily pasta shape keeps you on your toes with fresh and flavorful sauces. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is what you’d expect from a place like Louise in park slope: full of children, with good vibes.

Visiting Brooklyn the evening before my half marathon, we stopped by Pasta Louise for dinner.
I had booked a reservation for Friday, but as luck would have it, the two of us were seated right away as walk-ins.
Quick note on parking: there is free street parking. We managed to parallel park nearby, but others may have to circle around a bit.
The ambiance struck me immediately: warm, inviting, and cozy, with more seating than I expected thanks to a neat little outdoor patio.
Starters:
Our server pointed us to the specials, so we began with the Stracciatella focaccia (seasonal). The bread, layered with melted cheese and herbs, was excellent — quick to arrive, light but flavorful, and frankly a bit addictive. I held back after a couple of pieces, saving room for the real test: pasta.
Mains:
My dinner partner ordered the Spicy Red Pesto — sun-dried tomatoes, lemon zest, garlic, Calabrian chiles, sunflower seeds. No option to add shrimp, so they took it as-is.
I went for the house favorite: Cacio e Pepe — cracked black pepper and salty pecorino — with burrata and arugula added on top.
Both dishes looked modest in portion at first, but appearances deceived; they were filling in just the right way. I tried both but, unsurprisingly, preferred my own. The pecorino on the Cacio e Pepe carried the dish: sharp, savory, and absolutely sublime. I couldn't pin down the pasta shape — penne, or something close — but it hardly mattered. Each bite was balanced, deeply flavorful, and worth savoring. For me, this easily places in the top three Italian restaurants I've experienced.
I restrained myself a little — half the burrata, a careful share of bread — mindful of the half marathon ahead the next morning. That race went spectacularly; I placed in the top 10. Pasta Louise played no small role in fueling that performance.
Verdict: Pasta Louise is a gem of Brooklyn dining. Cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and pasta that borders on transcendent. I'll absolutely return when I'm back in New York, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone in search of genuinely excellent Italian fare.

Pasta Louise has been a favorite of mine since they opened in 2020
The lasagna was amazing rich, comforting, and perfectly done
I also tried the pasta with mushrooms (I’m a big mushroom fan) but it was a bit too heavy for me personally
Still a great spot and one I keep coming back to

the pasta was delicious and the drinks were perfect but the focaccia was probably the worst i’ve ever tasted. they also have a really cute pasta mural on the wall i didn’t grab a picture of.
they also have a charity dedicated to creating scholarships for children who have lost a parent to cancer and feature a drink on the menu that donates a dollar to that charity. consider going to support xx
