Discovering Aloha Beer Company in the Heart of Honolulu
Nestled in the vibrant Kakaako district, Aloha Beer Company stands as a testament to the evolving craft beverage culture in Hawaii. Located at 700 Queen St, Honolulu, HI 96813, this establishment has become a landmark for both residents and visitors seeking a genuine taste of local brewing traditions. The space itself reflects the industrial charm of the neighborhood, blending modern architectural elements with an open, welcoming atmosphere that encourages social interaction and relaxation. It is more than just a place to enjoy a drink; it is a community hub where the spirit of aloha is integrated into every aspect of the guest experience.
The philosophy behind the brewery is rooted in a deep respect for the art of fermentation and a commitment to quality ingredients. By focusing on small-batch production, the team ensures that every glass poured maintains a high standard of flavor and consistency. Whether you are a connoisseur of complex hop profiles or someone who appreciates a clean, crisp lager, the variety offered here caters to a wide spectrum of palates. The setting provides an ideal backdrop for casual afternoon gatherings, lively evening meetups, or simply a quiet moment to appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into every brew.
Why Aloha Beer Company Stands Out
Commitment to Local Craftsmanship: The brewery prides itself on utilizing high-quality ingredients to create unique flavor profiles that honor the local environment and the heritage of Hawaiian brewing.
Prime Location in Kakaako: Situated in one of Honolulu’s most dynamic and artistic neighborhoods, the brewery serves as a perfect starting point or conclusion for those exploring the local street art, boutiques, and cultural venues nearby.
Welcoming Community Atmosphere: The design of the space emphasizes openness and comfort, making it an inclusive environment where individuals can connect, share stories, and experience the genuine hospitality synonymous with the islands.
Dedication to Quality and Consistency: Through meticulous attention to the brewing process, the staff ensures that every visitor receives a premium product, reflecting a passion for excellence that defines the brand's identity.
Beyond the beverages, the brewery serves as a reflection of the creative energy currently defining Honolulu. The staff members are often recognized for their extensive knowledge of the brewing process, eager to guide guests through the nuances of different styles and flavor notes. This educational approach adds a layer of depth to the visit, allowing patrons to gain a better understanding of what makes their favorite selections special. The environment is carefully curated to ensure that the noise levels and seating arrangements facilitate conversation, making it a preferred destination for those who value quality time with friends and family.
The architectural layout of the facility also plays a significant role in the overall experience. With high ceilings and an expansive floor plan, the venue manages to feel both spacious and intimate. It is common to see groups of friends gathered around communal tables, while others find comfort in smaller, more secluded spots. This versatility makes the location suitable for a wide range of social occasions, from informal business meetings to weekend celebrations. The focus remains consistently on providing a high-quality experience that aligns with the expectations of a modern, discerning audience.
Furthermore, the brewery’s presence in the Kakaako area contributes significantly to the local economy and the ongoing revitalization of the district. By drawing people into the neighborhood, it supports the surrounding ecosystem of small businesses and creative enterprises. This interconnectedness is a core value for many local establishments, and Aloha Beer Company exemplifies the importance of fostering a sense of place. Visitors often find that their time spent here is not merely about the consumption of a product, but about participating in a larger cultural narrative that celebrates the unique identity of Hawaii.
As the craft beer movement continues to grow globally, establishments like this one remain vital by staying true to their roots while embracing innovation. The balance between traditional techniques and modern experimentation is what keeps the menu fresh and exciting for returning guests. It is this dedication to evolution that ensures the brewery remains a relevant and beloved fixture in the Honolulu landscape. Whether you are a long-time resident or a traveler passing through, the doors are open to those who appreciate the intersection of quality, community, and the distinct spirit of the islands.
A Destination Worth Visiting
Aloha Beer Company offers a unique blend of quality, atmosphere, and local charm that makes it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Honolulu. By prioritizing the guest experience and maintaining a high standard of brewing excellence, the establishment successfully captures the essence of what makes Hawaii a special place to live and visit. We invite you to stop by 700 Queen St to experience the welcoming environment and the dedication to craft that defines this local favorite. Whether you are looking to unwind after a long day or seeking a new spot to enjoy with friends, you will find that the brewery provides a memorable and authentic experience that truly embodies the spirit of aloha.

I distinctly remember this place being on the corner of Kalakaua and Lewers st. Maybe there is a new location there?
Anyhow, ALOHA beer company has all the workings of a super relaxing brewery. Posted along the Waikiki strip it's a nice place to come and chill. There's indoor and outdoor seating and very welcoming.
There are the staple beers, hazy's, IPA's and foods like flatbreads, salads and kids flatbreads. We ordered a kids pizza with chips ($10), Cesar salad ($16), and a BBQ chicken flatbread ($17-18?). To me, personally, the food I ordered was, meh. I felt like it was just thrown together and both flatbreads were slightly undercooked.
Other than the food, everything else about this place is good.
I'd come back to give it another try.

We loved coming here, but it’s hard to justify the price when the portions have shrunk so significantly. The nachos are about half the size they used to be. You've unfortunately lost us as regulars.

I had a great cheeseburger with truffle fries. I topped that off with an ice cold Marzen beer. I enjoyed the Tap Haus Marzen so much that I bought a growler to take home. They also give first responders and military discounts.

I enjoyed the happy hour where everything was $2 off. My wheat beer was very good. The bartender and waitresses were friendly and helpful. I wish I had stayed here for another one rather than leaving for Hana Koa down the street.

Awesome beer variety, I loved all the beers I tried on this visit. The seating layout out is nice, and a lot of covered outdoor seating is available. The food was decent, and the service wasn't great, but on par for a heavy tourist area. I would most certainly go back to try some other beers! More
