Pizza is great! The famous Pickle Pizza lives up to the hype and the crust is so unique - chewy and flavorful.
They have a BOGO happy hour from 4-5pm, so you can buy one pizza and get the second free for both dine-in and carry out (but not delivery).
It’s BYOB and there’s a corner market across the street if you forget to bring a drink but would like one.
The staff was really friendly and flavorful “Pilsen-style” pizza crust makes it worth a trip! The slices are huge and filling, so a pizza easily feeds 2-3 people.
It’s easily accessible by the Ashland (9) bus as well!

Bob's Pizza is great. We'll either start with the sausage pizza and add toppings (pictured) or get the pickle pizza which is surprisingly delicious. Pizza always tastes great but is very heavy. Hot wings were unfortunately too hot for my girlfriend; I liked them but likely will not order again (might try garlic parm though). More

The workers here are so amazing and very helpful. They are kind and truly care about the customers. Unfortunately this is not case for the owners. They have removed several highly coveted items from the menu including pizzas by the slice. … More

Recommended by my manager, one of the great pizza places. They have speciality pizzas as well as you can make your own pizza. Nice quantity and amazing taste. They also offer BYOB if you want to get drinks.
They have 2 locations in Chicago: Pilsen and Old Town

The pizza was great!! We got half mushroom and half garlic/basil. The crust is especially delicious. We also got the garden salad. The ingredients were extremely fresh. They also have top shelf ranch dressing. I’ll definitely be ordering from this establishment again soon.

So sad they got rid of their chicken wings and homemade blue cheese dressing. This was honestly the best wing and blue cheese in the city... I was a big part of ordering here. We'd order more often if they had pineapple as an add on, we're big Hawaiian pizza fans.
Great pizza, but seeing a favorite item disappear from the menu, and them not carrying the options for our favorite pizza definitely hurts.

Bob’s pizza serves their “Pilsen Style Pizza.” I tried the peperoni and cheese pizza. Their pizzas are 16 inches of flavor cut into 6 gigantic pieces. The hand stretched dough made it crispy with a good chew, which I would say is a perfect crust texture. We had the pizzas delivered, and even after the delivery, the crust maintained its texture. The crust was a little bit charred at the bottom, giving the pizza a desirable flavor. The pizza was finished with seasoning and herbs. Melty cheese, salty peperoni. Very solid pizza. I need to go back to try the other specialty pizzas.

Some friends and I ordered takeout from Bob’s Pilsen location. The pizza is thin-crust like New York-style pizza, with a large puffy crust— it’s technically called “Pilsen-Style”. We ordered 3 pies— Korean BBQ Chicken, Spinach Pesto and Stracciatella, and normal Cheese.
I personally liked the Spinach Pesto and Stracciatella the best— I’m always a fan of arugula on pizza; added with the white cheese + prosciutto, it made a great combo. Fresh, savory, and delicious. I also liked the Korean BBQ Chicken pizza— a unique option with a sweet and tangy kick from the BBQ sauce and kimchi. The cheese was pretty standard.
Each pie comes with 8 slices but each slice really massive, so the prices are pretty reasonable for the size (~$25 / pie). Although we only did takeout, the vibes of the dine-in location looked really nice, so I’d love to come back with a group in the future to dine in and also try their more famous pickle pizza!

We like Bob's Pizza.
The crust is fresh and tasty and made in house using few ingredients including beer.
The pizza sauce is rich and appealing with a different, very tasty cheese.
People should come here and try their pizzas.
Tastes vary, but properly prepared, cooked food with fresh ingredients always shines through. Bob's is like that.
They have great reduced price specials. More than other places. Both coupons and half price Happy Hours.
We liked their thin style pizza with super crispy, New York style crust, that is still soft and chewey.
The place serves few menu items with simple ingredients. They seem to care.

My husband and I went during the 4pm-5pm happy hour and ended up getting two larges for the price of one. It was super great pizza and we will be back again. (We did take it to-go so we can not vouch for the dine-in experience). We also tried the oatmeal cream pie, it was a bit dry but still pretty good.

Honestly this place has gone DOWN HILL. tried them for the first time a couple years ago it was alright - went a second time and had PLASTIC in the sauce of their pepperoni pizza. Called to report they didn't care. Have gone a handful of times out of convenience- it's mediocre. Went a FINAL time got a Caesar salad - and WOW I wouldn't have fed that to my dog. Pizza was again MEDIOCRE. you're better off getting a frozen pizza. 🍕 keep in mind we left a 20% tip to grab our own plates that are from the dollar store. We had to grab our own condiments. The water vase was dirty and disgusting. 🤮 NOT WORTH IT.

The margarita pizza is amazing. The chicken sausage pizza is good. The beef pastrami would not recommend, the flavors did not work.
They have a great happy hour deal M-T that you can’t pass up. Looking forward to trying all the items in their specialty menu. More

Would recommend! The place has a cool vibe inside and the workers were nice. We got a half cheese half sausage+pepperoni pizza, regular fries, and garlic parm fries. The pizza is a generous size. It says it feeds 2-3, my girlfriend and I only ate half and had leftovers. The pizza was SO GOOD, though it is pretty greasy, so be prepared to either dab some off with a paper towel or let it run off the pizza. The garlic parm fries were delicious, the regular ones are pretty average. We dined in so everything came out piping hot and fresh. Definitely will be back!

Ordered a couple of pies yesterday. The pepperoni was good, especially since we added on mushrooms. The sausage, however, was the saddest sausage pizza I’ve ever seen. Where’s the beef? Guess who ended up with the slice with only one sausage? Me. Hope they aren’t starting to skimp out on ingredients already. This definitely can’t be “Bob’s favorite.”
We also tried out the chicken wings. Both sauces were tasty, but the chicken itself was bland. Definitely not worth the price.
We’ve also tried the pickle, wild mushroom and grass fed meatball pizzas in the past. The pickle and mushroom pizzas are pretty good. The meatball pizza wasn’t that good, and they don’t put a lot of meatballs on it either.
Sadly this won’t be my to-go pizza place since sausage is my preferred pizza topping.

Decided to order take-out after passing this place countless times. The pick-up was really quick. The order was ready in 13 minutes. They send a text when they confirm the order and when it is ready for pickup.
The sausage pizza was vile for $26. The size of the pizza looked great at first glance, the only redeeming quality. I didn't expect the pizza to be so greasy with sparse toppings and the cheese to taste so cheap. I didn't mind that it was thin crust, but it felt undercooked as well.
The $6 Oatmeal Cream Pie was so disappointing. The oil from the dessert coats your tongue and is inedible. My overall experience was bad.

Bob’s Pizza is one of those places that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a neighborhood gem. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, with the smell of bubbling cheese, charred crust, and sizzling toppings drifting through the air the second you walk in. It’s the kind of place that feels both familiar and exciting, like your favorite childhood pizza joint.
We went with the sausage pizza, and honestly, it blew our expectations out of the water. The presentation was simple and classic, but every element was crafted with clear attention to detail. The crust was perfectly thin and crisp along the edges, with just the right amount of chew toward the center. It had that beautiful wood-fired blistering that adds a hint of smokiness with every bite.
The sausage itself was the standout, juicy, slightly spicy, and full of flavor. You could taste the fennel and garlic, and it was crumbled generously across the pizza, ensuring every slice was packed with savory bites. The tomato sauce was bright and tangy, balanced with a slight sweetness that played beautifully against the richness of the sausage. The cheese was gooey and melty, pulling apart in perfect strings, and served piping hot, it melted in your mouth with each bite.
This pizza transported me back to late nights in the city, grabbing slices with friends after a show, comforting, nostalgic, and completely satisfying. For anyone who appreciates a high-quality pizza made with care, Bob’s Pizza is an absolute must-visit. Don’t skip the sausage, it might just become your new favorite.

Bob’s Pizza is a great place to enjoy fresh and tasty pizza. The restaurant offers a variety of pizza options with flavorful toppings and a crispy crust. Many customers enjoy the rich taste of the sauce and the generous amount of cheese used on the pizzas.
The atmosphere is usually friendly and welcoming, making it a nice place to eat with friends or family. The staff is often helpful and works to serve customers quickly.
Sometimes the wait time can be a little longer during busy hours, but the quality of the food usually makes it worth it. Overall, Bob’s Pizza is a good spot to grab a satisfying slice or a full pizza meal.
