Cute atmosphere that emulates the earthy palette on the menu. Had an 8:15pm reservation but didn’t get our table till 8:40pm, even though they have a 90 minute cap. The staff gave us a free appetizer though, which was very nice of them. The … More

The main part it's all about the food... Burrata appetizer was good the cocoa nibs what's a great idea. The gin cocktail was awesome. The pasta dishes were so salty they were almost inedible. I love salt. So if I'm commenting, it's a real thing. There was a lack of protein options. It felt a little cold and not just the temperature... More

My husband, FIL and I came here on a Tuesday night for dinner. We were able to make a reservation a few hours beforehand which was really nice. We were seated immediately and our waiter was very nice. He made sure to keep refilling our water whenever we were running low which was great. We started with olives, it was a pretty small bowl of them but it was a nice starter. My husband ordered the cappellacci, I ordered the squid ink Tajarin, and my FIL ordered the spaghetti. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the cappellacci the most. I loved the texture of the pasta and the sauce was delicious. It was definitely our favorite. I liked my squid ink tajarin but wished there was more sauce to it. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and definitely a great place to come for a date night. I also liked that the tables were spaced apart so we weren’t sitting close to the people next to us. I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for a nice dinner!

Great pasta good wine and great service. Went with the mafaldine and paccheri this time. Last time we got the tagliatelle. Along with whipped ricotta for an app and the merengue and tiramisu for desert. All were excellent. The pasta is superb here. It’s our go to Italian place in Raleigh More

The food, the drinks and the service were all great! Ordered two appetizers and two pasta entrees and I will say the appetizers are good not great. The pasta is the real star of the show here. Both the lasagna and the cappelletti were amazing, would definitely come back for more! More

I’ve had my eye on this place ever since we moved to Raleigh and it did not disappoint . If you are looking for a nice Italian date night spot this is it. The service was phenomenal, our server described the food really well and steered us in the right direction for apps, wine, and pasta that all paired really well together! The building is a renovated warehouse with vintage decor and industrial fixtures. From where we were sitting we can see where they were making their 12-ft sheet of pasta. We started with the raw tuna with pear which was the perfect sweet-fresh bite and the charred cabbage with pistachios was a great accompaniment. The two pastas we decided on- braised beef was melt in your mouth tender and the ‘adult Mac n cheese’ as our server called it were 10/10 choices, could not go wrong.

For me, I’m picky about a pasta restaurant. I want the flavor pallet to be something that I can’t whip up at home. Figulina truly went above and beyond expectations.
In terms of service, the host staff was hospitable and welcoming. I came a bit early for my reservation but they were still able to sit me quickly with no issues. My server, Sandra was super helpful with her recommendations and was attentive when it came to checking up on me throughout the meal. Overall, no complaints!
In terms of atmosphere this spot great for date night, big enough for parties, or even solo meal to treat yourself. Something to note: they do offer communal seating if you are solo or bar seating.
Let’s get to the good stuff: food and drinks. If you like tequila I highly recommend Flying Too Close. A pinch liquor forward, but if you like the taste of tequila like me, you’re in for a treat. The perfect sipping drink pre or post meal.
Now, I’m a sucker for seared scallops so I had to give them a try. The black étouffée complimented them nicely: smooth and flavorful. The okra and zucchini were cooked well and added some nice color to the plate.
Now to talk about the star of the show: the cappelletti. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Perfect balance of sweet and savory. Perfect serving size. Great presentation. I honestly should’ve taken some to-go and then some. Maybe I’ll stop by tomorrow…
Honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough; I will for sure be coming back here during my next visit in Raleigh!! Until then, I’ll just be dreaming about the cappelletti.

Figulina is wonderful!
This is quite an Italian restaurant with a twist and a cool vibe.
I came with my boss and other coworkers for our holiday dinner, and it was fantastic. The menu offers a variety of options of pasta dishes with a twist. I went for the Dopio Ravioli (collard green pesto, celeriac béchamel, ham broth and pecorino sardo). To drink l, I had a cocktail with mezcal. My team members also had the ravioli and other plates I can't remember. Everything was delicious!
The service was superb with professional and helpful attitudes. Common spaces were clean and comfortable and the restaurant was located in a central area easy to access and with a few street spaces and couple of paid parking lots nearby.
Overall, it's a fantastic restaurant for a special occasion or if you simply like pasta with a delicious fusion. 100% recommended.

My husband and I ate here last night and had a fabulous meal. We had the tuna crudo, the cappellacci, the scallops, and the tiramisu. I had the margarita style mocktail. Everything was excellent. We left feeling full, but not sluggish and bloated.
I have a sensitive stomach, and sometimes when I eat out, I leave the restaurant feeling uncomfortable. I did not experience this at Figulina. The food was decadent without being heavy. They are really clever with their sauces. I’m almost certain they make their own pasta. Everything tasted high quality.
I think the most outstanding items that we ate were the tuna Crudo and the tiramisu, but we definitely enjoyed everything.

We walked from our hotel so we didn’t have to find a parking space. There does seem to be a lot of street parking around the restaurant, but I think you have to pay for it.
