Great place to have a drink, (albeit pricey), in the sunshine - nice views across to Manhattan.
The absence of pushy hustling for ludicrously high tips made a refreshing change from other New York establishments. More

Our server Jon is incredible! As per his recommendations we had the Victory Chimes and Permanent Vacation drinks as well as the spinach and artichoke dip and fries with aioli appetizers. The view is incredible and great experience overall! More

Stopped for a drink. Amongst the crowd, protesting across the bridge, it’s always an experience being out. The staff was great and seating was prompt.

Very cute spot by the water with great spinach artichoke dip. I’d go again to sit and catch up with friends over decent food and great views.

An excellent place to enjoy the fresh air with the views of the NYC skyline. Conveniently located at the DUMBO ferry terminal you can enjoy a cocktail or food while you wait. Drinks were solid with a full bar. No good this time but the menu looked pleasing. Service was nice. Prices were pretty upscale. Overall location is great.

it would be helpful to have a phone number to cancel reservations, thanks. To folks who are reserving, beware it is $25 cancel fee (per guest). Contrary to info shared at reservation, it is not a "no-show fee." They charge $25 per guest if you cancel, even with advance notice. It's one thing to not show up, but to charge a customer for cancelling in advance is not good business.
I'm very surprised they charge $25 (per guest) no matter what. There is no phone number to call High Tide to speak with a human.

Pros: the atmosphere is gorgeous and you can't get much better for lunch in the area. Also, the food, once it was served correctly, was delicious.
Cons: the biggest con was the service. Both the hostess and our server were very rude, and acted like small requests (like asking for a straw) were very inconvenient. She left our table after serving drinks and we had to ask another waitress to get her after about 20 minutes so we could order our food.
Also, two of us ordered the tomato watermelon salad, which only has four ingredients. Two ingredients (basil and shiso) were missing when it arrived. After our waitress came back 5 minutes later, I had to ask about the other ingredients (I thought maybe they had run out and figured they could get away with not telling us?), and she seemed bothered but took our plates back to the kitchen and came back 10 minutes later with the correct full dish. I'm not sure why they served it incorrectly when it's a simple dish.

If you can get past the expense of this place, I’d say it be the most delightful place to grab a casual lunch. The views, the food and cocktails and the service were all top notch. I’d happily revisit this pop up gem.
