First off it would of been nice to have a hostess who smiled and made you feel welcome. Maybe she thought her youth and cuteness were enough. Luckily our server, David, was very engaging and knowledgeable. I liked the decor of the main dining room. The books on shelves are a nice touch. The food unfortunately didn't show the same finesse. The Chef seems a little heavy handed with the salt in the seafood and pasta dish I ordered. The crab cake was a tragedy. Flavorless with a too soft texture. The only highlight was the roasted cauliflower. A dish like that makes the idea of being vegan almost tolerable. I did like the diverse set of patrons especially some of the most vibrant beautiful African Americans I've seen seated at the bar. Maybe next time I'll just have a drink and people watch.

I recently visited Mesler Kitchen Bar Lounge during their off-peak hours, specifically between 2-4 PM, to avoid interrupting any busy tables. Upon arrival, I was told I could wait at the bar for the bartender. Despite making eye contact … More

Most of the staff are friendly and professional. Food is somewhat consistent between visits. But, this is NOT a good place for conversation. The environment is often loud and it's difficult to communicate without raising your voice, which … More

I went for a friend’s birthday. Our server Al was attentive and accommodating. He brought out special limoncellos for our party.
Though the menu was limited, I settled for the Lobster Roll. The texture was a little different from what I’m used to. I wasn’t very fond of the lobster mayo, it sort of overpowered the roll for my taste. The french fries were good.
The pear margarita was an excellent choice, it wasn’t too sweet at all. The sugar rim was a nice touch!

Mesler was good! I wasn't blown away and I would not say best brunch of my life, but the entire experience was nice and I would certainly go back. I thought the portions were a bit small for the price, but still very tasty. The space was very nice as well! Love that there were books all over the main dining area. We started with the Dorchester, a cosmopolitan, and another drink I forget the name of. SO STRONG WHEWWW 😮💨 I was definitely breathing heavy. 10 out of 10. For food we did the burger, the shrimp & grits, and the chicken and pearl waffles. They were good, not the best I've had in my life, but still good. Our server was very kind and attentive and the vibe was great. Will be returning!

We found this place by accident. We were going to another restaurant in the area but they were closed. This was a truly great experience.
The food was top notch! Chefs kiss to the chef! We both had pasta dishes. We could tell that it was fresh pasta. The flavor and texture were outstanding. We could both tell the difference, first bite! My grandson ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and he said it was the best he’d ever eaten.
The atmosphere was amazing. I would definitely recommend for a date night.

First experience around the holidays 2024 not 1 ounce of decorations and it was already the first week of December. This year 2025 we had brunch today, my wings had no seasoning whatsoever except the sauce that was on top of it, which was mediocre. The waitress came back to the table so many times. I wanted to tell her to leave us alone without being rude. They did not tell me there was an up-charge for the lemon drop portion of a martini, soooooo sneaky and ridiculous. If you’re gonna charge these hefty prices which most boutique hotels do, at least have good food. So disappointing to spend that amount of money on bland, wings, a drink that cost the same as a full bottle of kettle one vodka. Utterly ridiculous and then you all have the nerve to include gratuity for a party of two. And asks for an additional gratuity. Please stop doing that; pay your staff and leave the gratuity in place as an option not a demand. Sadly disappointed.
