From the texture to the taste, the tiramisu was so soft, moist and flavorful. Felt like I’m back in Italy ❤️ Definitely coming back again.

Pizza was good. Lasagna was great. Server was amazing. Little weird we had to sit outside because their ac doesn't work. And I felt it was overpriced for what it was. More

Best truly Northern Italian pizza! All ingredients are from Italy so healthier than ingredients from the USA. Maurizio, the owner, is from Milan and brought a little bit of Italy to us in the South Loop. Definitely worth going out of your way for if you don’t live in the area. Classy and beautiful. Thank you! . More

We wanted to like this place, especially since our favorite hotel doorman (hats off to Showtime) recommended it. The pizza was okay, but the salad was not very good, poorly tossed together and more or less tasteless. And the inside was … More

Wow! This place was phenomenal. Alex was a wonderful server on top of the wonderful food. My boyfriend and I tried the cocktails: Long Island Iced Tea, Espresso Martini, and an Italian Moscow! Of course though the pizza was to die for! So light and airy with deep flavors. Tiramisu was also worth a taste. More

We had a group of 7 and our server was so attentive, answering all of our questions and all the recommendations were on point. He was very helpful with a nut allergy. The pizza was delicious as well as the lasagna. The lemon sorbet was just the right amount of sweet and tart. We will definitely be back. More

Forno Mauri!
Wow! What a great little treat right on Printers Row. This spot boasts all Italian sourcing for their products, from the flour to the tomatoes to the cheese and beyond.
We tried the meat and cheese combo, the lasagna, a cheese pie with extra cheese and a specialty pie. The crust was crispy, the cheese goey, and the topings were savory. The Lasagna takes a minute but if you like pasta give it a try. We will be back!

The most transcendent pizza crust in Chicago has just arrived at Printers Row! But the trick: you have to eat it immediately from the oven! Dine in, get a bottle of wine, the tricolore salad, maybe an appetizer, and you’ll be set. (Also: they have actual lasagna for the deep dish pizza lovers. 😉)Ask for Gaspare—he’ll make sure you have great service. (Everyone here is really great though.) We’ll be back again soon.

I would not recommend this restaurant for takeout. Not only are you not able to order online or over the phone, this pizza simply did not travel well at all. The cheese and toppings didn’t stay on the dough and it was a bit of a mess to eat. Flavor wise it was good and I’m sure it’s better in the restaurant. The salad was uninspiring I’d say and pricey for what you get. Charging $12 for a 12oz beer even in south loop is a bit crazy though. This isn’t an expensive steakhouse and a Sierra Nevada is not THAT fancy of a beer. Friendly service and nice patio.

Authentic Italian pizza. Very flavorful. My only qualm was that they were understaffed, and while our server was very friendly, he and the other server were running around like it was a crazy busy diner and that’s not the vibe I think Forno Mauri is about. I know it’s not their fault really since they’re understaffed, so I felt bad for them. But, it wasn’t very busy when we went and their running around (while also messing up our order) created a chaotic and anxious environment. Also, it seemed that everyone else dining was very patient and not demanding, so not sure why they felt they had to run for each task. Hopefully they’ll be better staffed soon so it doesn’t mess up the atmosphere since the food is good!

I was very excited to try this new place and it did not disappoint. We got an order of bruschetta, which only came with 2 pieces (which made it difficult to split between 3 of us.) Then we got the di norcia pizza, which was sooo delicious! You can tell that it’s made to order with fresh ingredients. For dessert, we got the tartufo gelato, which was a unique and yummy treat. I definitely will return!
